Make it 10 seconds, the fact that 80% of the time someone tries spawning and it hits 0seconds, then there sitting there for an extra 5-20 seconds trying to spawn is just plain dumb
I'm sure when the office microwave cooks you're hot pockets for 2 minutes it doesn't reach zero and say "loljkjk 20 more seconds tehehe"
Neither should the game, those seconds count when fighting over objectives |

There is a microwave model that actually does this, but instead lol jk its "cooldown" |

I really should check the respawn counter against a stopwatch or something, it always feels much slower than 10 seconds |

ive assumed this is a bug....there are some maps at some locations it happens at more than others....for instance ill notice trying to spawn in a skirmish at a null cannon or a CRU wil leave me waiting past 0 but canceling and spawning at a DU or the MCC/groundspawn has no delay |

While we are talking about respawn, why is it that you can cancel a respawn most of the time....
...But then, when the time when you are spawning in and you select it, then all of a sudden, it shows enemies on around, and all the blue dots suddenly die, then you can't cancel you spawn...

Not to discount the spawn lag, but dont forget that some drop uplinks reduce the time needed to spawn, up to 50% faster, if memory serves. |

Why!!!
That has to do with how long you have been out of the match, if your getting warnings about being ejected for inactivity and you start to spawn it will not let you cancel. If you need more detailed information on this you could always test it out.

there are quite a few that reduce to 50% at prototype level. Only one uplink that reduces to 75% |
