Could anyonne please tell me why a respec would be a bad idea ? of course i understand that this is not the best time right now because calogi and flaylock gonna get nerfed (and i know that every single player hates it except of the douchbags who are playing w/ em). everyone knows that for example the calogi is unfair and OP (if its used as asult-logi) and so these people dont want to give the calogi-assaults a chance to spec into the next op suit. i agree with that completly! but what about the guys who speced into lasers, plasma cannons, tanks ( yes they are UP in my opinion) etc. ?? these thigs are not workin. and i think we should give these people a chance to spec into stuff thats balanced and therefore fair ! give us a respec ! why not ??
so thats my opinion on respecs and if you disagree and you want no more resopecs, pls write a comment and disuss this with the comunity and me! |

People don't want respecs because they want to enjoy their OP wave when the pendulum swings their way as "reward" for purposely choosing under-powered classes. |

Nope. I use swarms and scrambler rifles. Both are fine (Swarms a little OP IMO) but I never want another respec. It defeats the purpose of the skill system. |

first off, i dont wanna offend you but its exectly people like you who dont want a respec besause they are useing the OP ****. you evven say i by yourselve about the swarms( and i really do aprecciate that). |

People should play with weapons they like the mechanics of, not the power of.
If players deliberately chose something outside of their playstyle because they knew it was imbalanced, then too bad for them.
Respecs should only come for aurum, as they are effectively DLC packs for anyone wanting to switch their roles. A cooldown on such an item's use would make sure FOTM respecs carried a heavy risk of being stuck with a nerfed weapon too.
That is the only circumstance in which I would approve of a respec, other than a major screw up on CCP's part. |

I've been using swarms since early on in closed beta and the scrambler rifles since they came out. I don't use shit that I think is OP. I use shit I like to use otherwise I would be using flaylocks and ARs with a cal logi suit (Oh yea I use amarr dropsuits BTW). |
