My anticipation of the Minmatar combat rifle (based on some eve dogma) would be that it will have a bit of a longer optimal range than the current plasma AR, but the effective range will extend much further than the AR. It will also probably have a pretty good amount of accuracy and possibly a sight or more resolution on the main variant.
I've been messing around with the tactical scrambler pistol, and it should be noted that an option in lieu of an actual scope is an iron sight that gives you a little bit more magnification w/o a scope. |

It's going to have a very rapid burst fire mode that you will be stuck with until you get to Level 4 in operations to access the variants, I know that much. |

Last I heard they were going to create the racial variants the same way they created the racial dropsuits ... removing the current variants and adding a new SP sink to get what you have now. So the burst rifle will be removed from the AR tree and added to the new CR tree. Does this really count as new content? It is certainly more SP sinks. |

TAC rifle is going to be the caldari variant most likely.
The scrambler is just an odd weapon out of nowhere tbh. It was probably created when they couldn't figure out how to balance beam laser weapons. |
