It's starting to feel like CCP is trying to run the player base off.
This will run off at least two or three hundred vets who were on the fence.
It's sad. I don't think they realize how close they are to putting the nail in the coffin. |

If you hadn't noticed most all tankers, to include armor tankers have asked for a buff to shield HAV's to make them more viable. If anything we all should be working together to show CCP what a mistake nerfing or 'fixing' armor reppers would be instead of buffing shield boosters. |

I prefer nerfs to buffs. I hate the concept of power creep.
Besides, I wanna see what they're going to do with the 1.4 vehicle rework. inb4 AV buff / tank nerf / witty one-liners about how CCP is incompetent. |

CCP, as far as I know, has never responded to any tank posts. My guess is they'll keep making them worse until they take them out of the game.
...seriously demanding some answers here. Didn't they promise more community feedback after FanFest?

It's not fix, it's a nerf, because they're bringing armor down to the level of shields, instead of bringing shields up to the level of armor. They're going about it entirely the wrong way, and it's sad to see you support it. |

Here's the thing:
You can't give both tanks this same buff. Shield tanks would be far to power full and would destroy everything. In adition, you can't leave armor the way it is because it is unfair to shield tankers.
example for AV:
As long as there are no proto swarms, with five damage mods stacked on them (stupid Callogis  ) or a proto forge gun on the field, I usually do pretty good against AV. I am able to tank a petty good amount of damage as long as I stay highly aware of my surroundings and don't stay in any one place for to long. There are a lot of people here that are saying "I drive both shield and armor, and as it is right now shields are absolutely worthless. The only thing that ultimately makes them worthless is the inevitable apearence of either a well coordinated attack with adv AV, lolprotoAV, or someone spawns in a Madruger without you noticing it. well coordinated attacks with adv AV don't happen all that often, and I am not talking about AV grenades either (give me two guys with standard and advanced AV nades and a militia LAV, and I garentee that I can take out any tank that anyone can currently field today - and this is just ridiculous - these AV nades and the way people are useing them really need to be looked at - they are nearly perfectly balanced against LAV but oober OP against HAV). Perhaps some kind of light, medium and heavy AV nades need to be added. Light grenades would work as they currently do with refused damage against medium a havey vehicles medium against medium heavy against heavy. Idk this may not work either.
Anyway, aside from proto AV, the only other real threat to my shield tank is the inevitable appearance of the Madruger, when the AV seems to not be working. When they send in another gunnlogi this usually isn't at all a big deal or a good battle ensues (which I usually win). But when the madruger comes it is most often an I win button or I have to fight tooth and nail, for every inch, to do anything and everything in my power to save my own life. And this just is not fair man.
This is how it goes maddy flanks, starts to fire with blaster. I turn to face start to fire with missiles. Doing descent against maddy so far. Maddy kicks on repers (already had hardeners on, or duel repers).maddy starts to tank my shots, i have no abillity to rep tank maddy's shots. Game over.
This is not in any way fair even in the lightest and you know it.
You want to give the Gunnlogi the same bug that the Madruger has? And I expect no less here, 3x HP rep. if this is the fix you want, then go ahead. I ******* dare you. I will rule you all. The QQ from AV and tankers alike will be of biblical proportion, and I will be merciless just to prove my point.
I am not saying that the maddy needs to be droped down to where this bug fix would put them, I am saying that buffing the gunn to where the maddy currently is to much
What really needs to be done is for the maddy to be droped down to where the gunn currently is (and if this bugg is fixed I do think that this would be far to severe for the maddy) and then carefully balanced adv and proto type tanks need to be added. And crying out loud, some thing needs to be done about the AV nades
Although I am not a supporter of a fix to the maddy by a full removal of this bug, if it is "fixed" this way, I will take great pleasure in making you ******* suffer as I have suffered. And I am not even joking. This imbalance has pissed me off for so long now, you guys have no idea how much rage I have stored up for you.

He was talking about shield tanks. I wouldn't say "fine" necessarily, but they would be a far sight better than armor tanks if this bug is removed entirely. |
