Do you [the player] feel all Logistics LAVs are overpowered or is it just the Caldari LAV you have the most issues with? |

Both are equally hard to kill in my opinion. Their sustain would be fine if they were used for logistics purposes and not for just running people over. |

It might just seem that way because both AV grenades and Swarm launchers are Anti-Armor vehicle focused. so shield tanked vehicles are harder to kill. unless this has changed in an update.
"AV grenades deal, to vehicles, 5x the base damage to shields and 10x the base damage to armor." swarms deal -20% of base to shields and +20% to armor.
Along with nerfs please make a anti-shield vehicle grenade.

I have found that the Gallente LAV, while resilient, is in no way as immune to most AV weapons like the Caldari LAV.
This issue could be solved if we had more anti shield weapons in the game like tho other poster said. |

Both are OP, but the Caldari is worse.
I need to shoot out the driver, ram it with a tank, or try and hold it down if it crashes, just to be in with a *chance of destroying one.
What really disappoints me about the free LAV removal, is that the various suggestions for a nerf to roadkilling would have solved both problems quite succinctly. |

I don't think it would be good to nerf them until after there ability to perform there logi role has been improved, or atleast functional.
I have had both a well fit limbus and a crap fit chary, my chary is way tougher. there is just not enough AV counters to sheild lavs. Skilled forge gunners have no problems with them. But they are very rare. But at the same time all lavs are pretty easy to kill/avoid
Flux proxy mines have been mentioned. Or flux av grenades would even them out. |

Its definitely just the charybdis that needs its skill of resistance that allows people to have almost 60% damage resistance total that needs to be fixed, as this makes lai dai packed AV nades take 4-5 nades, Ishukone assault FG shots take 3 shots, and proto swarms god knows how many shots, this lets the charybdis easily be completely invincible when combined with its speed. The limbus sort of fine because its slower and has a base weakness to AV nades, letting lai dai packed AV nades usually take 3, which is manageable most of the time. Of course if your team doesn't have a proto AVer w/ nades or swarms, the limbus can pose a serious threat as well. |

I'd be tempted to skill into an LLAV if they actually gave you points for doing what it's supposed to.

regular LAV, caldari LLAV, gallente LLAV... meh its all the same when I blow the driver out of the thing with my blaster on my tank. Tanks are a very good counter to any thing other that a bigger, meaner tank or in some cases a skilled assault dropship pilot. |

I really dont feel that the Limbus is OP. Just because it's hard to take out doesnt mean that it's OP that's what many DUST players fail to understand.

Some counters include:
1. Suicide a militia LAV into it.
2. Bait it into an area where it is likely to get stuck.
3. Go into tight area where the LAV has to slow down and correct to get you and shoot the driver.
4. Hack that blaster turret.
5. Look both ways before you cross the street. |

I steal them occasionally. Easiest kills I ever get. They're overpowered because they're hard to kill, despite not being dedicated to assault. Sound familiar? It's the exact same scenario as the caldari logis. CCP couldn't think of any other way to make them effective in their roles than making them as tough as a tank. |

Perhaps you missed my point:
Making something which is specialised for attack, hard to kill, is not OP.
Making something that is specialised for support, harder to kill than the above, is OP.
Your argument is not sound, because it fails to take into account just how tough these vehicles are, and the role they are meant to fulfil. |

We only have the basic LAV with no perks whatsoever.
P.S. Well we have a scout LAV but lol who uses that. It has less armor than the milita Baloch LAV. |

if we use them for the intended purpose the community still shts on us so we might as well just use them to troll until the nerf comes.
it doesnt matter if you're a medic that drives a LLAV that reps shield tanks and active scans up to 100m, if you drive a LLAV you will be harrassed for it, so get your troll hat on and start your engine |

I say! good job!! the player base went from MORE than 9000 to LESS than 5000. I say! soon you will be able to launch a Dust game and run the entire match with no one else on.
Good job!!! |
