What do you mean by maxed out Assault skills?
I've maxed out my dropsuit, most of my fitting skills, and most of my AR skills. The damage it takes to kill me depends on what is shooting me and the fitting I have. Most of the time I'm running with around 480 shield and 220 armor on my Caldari Assault. |

First of all you must understand that most people don't just max out their armour and shields. You will want to use one or more dmg mods, maybe shield regulators if you want to.
And remember it's not like gunfights depend on your suits HP, it's how you use it. <--- LOL

im a run and gun style player i have 2 complex shields no armor 1 enhanced light dmg mod 1 enhanced shield regulator gek 38 breach smg locust nades and a cpu upgrade.. i know its not great but gets the job done most of the time.. |
