I'm new at this and would like to know how I can purchase the Thales-Tar07 sniper rifle. It was sweet for the short time I had it. |

You can only find certain weapons as salvage, and if you're a new player, how on earth do you have the skills to use it. |

certain weapons in their description say something to the effect of " a rare weapon only salvaged from the battlefield".....those weapons cant be bought.... they are also named.... like thale or krin etc... |

I have the skills. Been doing this for 5 months now but I still consider myself a novice because of so much I do not know about this game. Like purchasing items not in the Market. |

3 months longer than me! Heebie Jeebies! I do wish you could buy Specialist Rifles and Thales from the market, but player trading should be here soon(ish). |

CCP does have plans to implement item trading between players in the somewhat near future. When that happens, expect the price of the salvage-only items to skyrocket based on demand, amount of ISK you have, how much people are willing to pay, and supply. |

You have to trade for it. The feature should be wrapped up around July 2012 according to the dev blogs. |

Yeah, sorry you didn't know this prior to using your Thales.... it's hard once they are gone and you rarely see people use them for that reason.
I've got a few for sale once the market goes up. And a few hundred of the specialist sniper rifles.... |

The Thale's is an officer weapon. These are weapons with capabilities in excess of the best weapons you can find on the market. You can only get them as salvage from regular battles, or from enemies using them in PC.
Thale's Sniper, Balac's Assault rifle, and Gastun's heavy weapons are easily the most coveted. |

according to the devs the Game should've been released on 14th of May. Yet we still play a beta. |
