I recently played a match in witch I had snuck up on a tank that was on top of a tower (don't ask how idid it.....I'm still not sure if the guy in the tank even noticed me almost hitting him with my dropship) and I placed some remote explosives around it and detonated them....but instead of the tank blowing up....it just flew right off the sideways of the tower and exploded when it hit the ground....then for some reason the idea popped into my head "I should have stuck the mines to the tank" but the. I thought "wait.....I can't do that.....the explosives aren't "sticky" "
So to the point, is it possible to make the remote explosives "sticky"?
Perhaps a "sticky" variant in wich they are sticky (duh), but with more punch and a smaller blast radius and then with of course the regular variant, large blast radius, lower punch.
Thoughts anyone? |

I've been wanting both types for awhile but I would much prefer my scout to be fixed first, but after this add a sticky version so I can stick the RE's on a tank... BYE ALL YOU TANKS WHO CROSS MY PATH!!! |

Sticky RE is actually what modern militaries have today. We had sticky bombs in World War 2 (fill a sock with explosives, coat in motor oil, improvsed sticky bomb) so having them now would make sense. Also, I like the idea of having the sticky RE being more damage, but smaller explosion radius. It would make demolitions a viable field. Have a team dropped off to detonate installations and rail tanks. Maybe have an individual bomb do 2000 damage (50% increase) with a 1.5m explosion radius. This would be an advantage rather than a detriment, since it won't detonate any nearby explosives and waste them.

True, True, and (google check ...) TRUE. I'm a G-Scout but will be branching out into demolitions after 1.3 (Amarr Logi issues finally get fixed) so having sticky REs will be just...just awesome man |
