You are right....but I have to ask you this. When you left SI, why would you join IE? Imperfects and NF had so much talent. You could have joined any other corp.

And it's actually worse for players because there are many choices of corps for players. But there aren't that many choices for corps. Yet, players with talent still tried to pile up into NF and give them an even wider advantage.

EoN's philosophy, as expressed by Numbz, has always been to recruit small corps but quality corps. Can't blame them if corps with the same ideals are attracted to that.

So...sure, EoN corps can leave but when I see Imp and IE players leave their corps, then one can take your argument more seriously.

The issue is that there isnt much talent coming from battle academy.

TP is just beating everyone and that's probably why it seems like EoN needs to be nerfed. LOI should have just gathered their best 16 from all of their corps to face them. There are talented corps in EoN but TP appears to be how the Imps used to be. You can't put B teams against TP and expect to win. I'm sure if LOI created an Ateam out of all of their corps...there may have been a back and forth thing with them.

They already did this. They had OH top Kujo Exmaple Kellente Marauder SoTaPoP the outcome was the same...

I'm referring to an LOI A team. I'm not sure if all of the corps weren't participating......but if I can go off the top of my head:

Alldin, The Black Art, Kujo, 13ar, 0TryHarder, Exmaple, MarkBurhart, Chilled, Morathi, Kalente, Broadway, Youngcuz, Markof22, getshotup, marauder, scotty...

...could have been one team. And i dont know all of the players but I'm sure they had enough for another beastly A team. Then they can field more B teams. Now, if the A team is winning battles, then morale would've been high and war may still have been going on. LOI had the numbers and skill to compete.

I dont really know Hellstorm's roster or who is really good on HS except for those I've mentioned. I know chilled is a good assault that you can take into any battle. Kujo, Mark, and Maple...I've listed in that 16.

Maybe 0TryHard or those other guys couldn't make those battles for RL reasons. Cause they're still active. There is also Taste, Doug, etc. Or, maybe someone should've just lit the fire under their asses to commit. Dia from Nyain San

+1 Hellsreaper is a monster. Luckily for us we can get carried. What I find extremely odd though is Teamplayers is a corp that carries so many of us bum cheerleaders.. yet when you guys try to join you get rejected... hmmm

If you didn't get accepted into my corp, no reason to be offended. No one just gets in. Just not how Team Players operates. every person is discussed amongst current members, in many cases we are not sold 1 way or the other and want to get to know someone first. We rarely go after anyone, as over time people notice what we do and we make friends along the way.

the answer is most likely Yes. Xero knows a number of my players from many years back, and we have kept in touch.

I know its a different mentality than most of the FPS community in general, but loyalty is something I take an immense amount of pride in, as well as most of my players.

Does xero pi$$ off his own members? sure he does at times, but at the SAME time when we are on the battlefield, Xero is a TEAM PLAYER. he does HIS part to help the TEAM accomplish our goals, and everyone is on that page.

Team Players. Its not Xero's corp, Deluxe's Corp, Zatara's corp, even Cubs corp... we are a team and we share 1 common goal and that's winning

We are professional in our approach and try to keep it that way at all times. I steer the ship the best I can, and everyone here helps determine the direction, and joining Team Players is more than 'hopping on a bandwagon' or seeing someone on the leaderboard, or whatever.

From what I see, it seems most people think we got to where we are overnight?

We have no A team or B team here. We do not openly recruit.

We look for skill, dedication, loyalty and character, not in that order.

Some of my guys have been forum warring more than I would like, but I try to manage it as best I can.

They are adults and I respect them, and expect them to have respect as well.


As Poseidon said, even in socom, we lost many matches (I was not there for it) but, Cubs builds his team around core characteristics. We can handle losing, we are not the best, someone is always better.

We have lost to most corps in DUST as well, and we do not expect to win every match.

We are no exclusive or Elitist as some one would think. We deny a lot of really talented players, not because they are not up to snuff, but because we are a family, and bringing someone into your family is not easy. We are small and tight knit, we like playing with one another. If you build to quickly, or too big you run into many issues. Which happened to us in the past, where we tried to a sister clan (A and B team). This did not work as half gets a big head and the other gets discouraged.

I am proud to say that just about everyone in TP is capable of playing PC and I have confidence in them all.

I'll squash that right now. We were lacking some key personnel but that is not why we lost. The 3 matches were extremely close and were well fought on both sides. HS had good tactics for those fights and edged us out and it was a lot of fun. The matches later in the day we countered their tactics and edged them out. We lost those matches because HS is a good team an we did not execute. That is all, TP is has great depth, and right now the door is shut pretty tight on recruiting.

We have the luxury having some of the best players in the game, but even more so because we all play really well together. Which is the most important thing.

I'll offer my advice about making corps/clans. First and foremost, find people you like to play with then look at talent, give everyone a say in who they will call brother or sister. TeamPlayers consisted of two people on this game for a year and a half, so be prepared for the long haul. Expect to lose many fights as you work together, use all of your own players, if attendance allows. Every loss is a learning experience, and every battle is a chance to redeem yourself for the last one.

The corps responsible for beating us have molded us into what were are today, and those that beat us in the future will continue that trend.

From my knowledge, this is a list of the corps who have beaten us. Tritan Industries, RND, WTF, Betamax, SI, GAC, HS, PFB.

Xero is, as is everyone, a key element in TP.

And you will have noticed, Xero has taken great strides on these forums and in game since becoming a TP.

I am as proud of him as I any player here.

If you ask Zatara i was in constant messaging with him about my activities and who i was going to join. I may have applied, who cares?

I was never "rejected" i was given the offer of join the feeder corp for "awok" and "spy" purposes and i was offered the same in imps, you may say oh you wasn't offered into TP, but think... would any corp let someone from SI in when i could awok? I accepted imps which clearly means i rejected the TP offer you idiots. go get some intell before typing your poor comments on me.

Xero, is misunderstood by many.

Xero's main issue is how he presents a point. The way he does this offends other's and often rubs people the wrong way.

Once you realize, that its the presentation of the message and not the message itself that is the issue can understand him better.

Xero is 100% a team guy, and we ask a lot of him to change the way he presents his points, but I can see, what he says and does comes from a place of caring and not hatred.

Believe me when I tell you, he has changed from night to day, and continues to make progress. I wouldn't want to change the way he thinks, as there is nothing wrong with it.

It is the presentation of the package, not what's inside.

It doesn't matter if you can't see it, I can. and in TP that is good enough.

For the most part Xero has assured me, he is retiring from forum warring.
