To whom it may concern,
The merc quarters is pointless and only complicates further the entry into each game.
My solution - One giant warbarge with all players. Inside the warbarge there could be something like several maps previewing different planets to fight on.
or,
A planet with all players who can test their weapons and equipment etc.
No second warbarge, just launch into game from these locations.

I kinda like the Merc Quarters but I like the WarBarge Idea.
There needs to be an option you can toggle though where after winning or losing a match, you immediately get sent into another match, it's annoying that you have to go to the merc quarters with the load screen then more loadscreen to get to warbarge then repeat. |

Nah,
My quarters are sweet.
I want to get some vanity stuff, though.
Posters, a popcorn maker, micro wave oven, a bong, a fridge, a big screen TV (bigger than the ones already there), a stereo, maybe a pet or two, some hookers.
You know - stuff to make the place a bit nicer.
CCP could make a bundle selling this kind of stuff for AUR.

Leave my quarters alone! I just got a pool table and space invaders arcade cabinet. Not to mention the dart board I received from the closed beta. Don't you dare touch my space house! |

It's a waste of loading space and time, that's for sure. Just give us a basic selection menu. That would be enough. |

It has doors that will eventually open to the MMO coming in this game. Its a place holder right now. I say NO. I like my merc quarters, and its minmatar!!!!

Merc Quarters are a future shared asset for the day things can go into the odd end of things once the game is in a more comfortable spot to do so. |

leave my room alone damnit, I would hate to be sent directly to another loading screen for another battle just after I get the loading screen for ending a battle, this gives me no time to relax at all, it will just add to the stress, the merc quarters are my favorite place in the game. I do agree that we should have the ability to walk outside of them into warbarge or other places but not get rid of them |

Youre not on a war barge, youre in a Station. the war barge transports mercenaries to planets, which then deploy to the ground with the MCC. Theyre all very different things.
At some point in the future Eve Capsuleers and Dust Mercs are going to be able to interact with one another but thats a long way off. Dust isnt a Menu Shooter, brosef. |

It's not an MMO shooter either brosef. And until it is an MMO shooter, which I desire this to be, its too clunky and unnecessary.
@CPM - do we not just "appear" on the war barge? At some point we will get around to it, So we will just put in half features that don't accomplish their intended use and clutter the game with waiting screens - really isn't an acceptable reason :)
there are better ways to implement this.

I think there should be a quarter for your whole corp, that you come back to between matches. That will let you know who is in match and such. |

Oh no..I like my merc quarters thank you very much. It's a great way to get in contact with my merc friends and just have a little conversation before we head out to war.
All I ask for is some futuristic music player in my room some time in the future so I can listen to some of Dust's OST. |

I would love to see a slot machine or video poker in my quarters. Something to blow isk on. Or maybe a chess game I can play with friends during downtime, they wouldn't need to be in my quarters and it'd kill time. I love my merc quarters though, ended up with amarr quarters and my race is caldari :)) |

The quarters are eventually going to be local to your Corporation's War Barge, and you'll be able to leave them and wander around it like in the 2009 stage demo. |
