We all love it when the guy we just killed gets needled and we get the easy task of putting him back in the dirt; and we've all been on the other foot and got pissed when a needle junkie gets you up only for the points. They should only be able to needle us if we call for help.

Even then I don't throw my gear away for a possible loss. A smart healer is one that keeps his victim and himself alive. My gear and team is worth more than some crappy amount of points.

Yes you can then cancel out of the GÇÿcontinueGÇÖ button, but sometimes it bugs out and you can't cancel it.

If I have to worry about the dead clones bleeding out on me, then I don't worry about a safe rebirth. I try not to pick people up just to die again but accidents happen. Last night I ran around to three different corpse made sure it was clear just to have them bleed out right before my needle hits. How do you think that makes a Logibro feel?

I've tried doing just that and have been suddenly brought back from the dead while I was switching fits on the spawn screen.

That said, as somebody who plays a lot of logi ... it's sort of a point of pride that I get guys up and keep 'em safe. I HATE getting a guy dropped again after I bring him up. Hate. It. Like someone else said ... sometimes accidents happen. But I would never revive a guy for the points.

If I saw him go down I kill off the attacker before reviving, and I always make sure to heal up the guy too, even if he is being suicidal and running back in. As I see it, reviving saves a clone so we dont loose, it saves the guy a loadout which can be expensive and I get SP. looks like a win win to me. if he wants to change loadouts he should find a supply depot - assuming of course some fool hasn't destroyed it for the sake of a few points and that annoying challenge I think the SP should also encourage others not just me to shield transfer/ remote repair vehicles. I seem to be the only one, but I'm happy to do it so tanks will be more aggressive and not just hide in the hills. (Though I'd also love not to get sniped out of my seat so easily trying to help)

By giving us logis the option to revive people who may not want to be revived, you make us look like asshats sometimes. For reals. On the other hand, I actually revive people all the time, and then put the repair tool on them and heal them right away. Even in the middle of gunfire, sometimes. IMO, saving the team a clone is worth a shot. I actually got yelled at by someone (WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS) calling me a 'fking useless idiot' for reviving him, putting the tool on him, and letting him get away, saving the team a clone, and giving my squad almost 200 points in the process. Yeah, I revived you in gunfire. Then I repaired you and you got away. That's the fking point of a medic, isn't it? Sorry, but if you're laying there, with a needle icon over your head, and 60-72 points PLUS TRIAGE POINTS are there for me to grab, I'm giving it a shot.

Maybe we need some options to choose when we die, i.e. do not rez, rez ASAP, or rez when safe. Could also add a simple function where you have to press X to accept the rez. When I'm in a heavy suit everyone wants to get me back up, but I'm lucky if I can turn and take one step before I go down again. If I'm going to lose the gear anyway, just let me respawn and get back into the fight at full health as quickly as possible.
