Through that post, CCP has basically just said Murder LLAVs are good, combat LAVs are not intended.


And for all of you that cant see that post let me break it down for you. CCP said, The "Glitch" is not actually a glitch, rather a FEATURE ( that was never mentioned in patch notes for 1.2 when it first appeared) it is intended you be able to shoot someone out of an LAV with EASE.

ok why not? what benefits to LAVs bring now? other than murder taxi's there is no direction for LAV anymore. they are, much like the rest of the game, broken.

First of all here is my LLAV fitting:

On medium slots i have ...

F-84 Active Scaner wich is an ACTIVE module, this shows enemy units on radar all around my LLAV in a 100 radius for 20 sec , 5 sec cooldown.

Mobile CRU , most people dont spawn in my LLAV either because they dont know or dont care , i dont get points when they do spawn.

Ward Shield Regenerator , since Limbus has low shield i need it to regenerate it a little faster , 19%


On the low slots i have...

Jovian Fusion Powerplant , 17.6% Torque Bonus , with all the bumpy maps i need a good 4x4

Carapace Armor Hardner wich is an ACTIVE module, -25 armor damage for 1 minute , very useful when you drive trough hot zones.

Voltaic Energized Plating , 15% armor damage , since Limbus is armor and i didnt want any more ACTIVE modules.

As weapon i use ...

20GJ Stabilized Neutron Blaster +12% damage from turret skills, i found blasters most effective , they are designed against infantry , too bad ppl rarely spaawn or mount , i need someone to man that turret , in a heavy dropsuit please.

The whole fit costs me 290k

With 3 milions SP you can use this fitting.

What i do is go and hide around an objective or a battle and start the scanner , as soon as an enemy appear if there are team mates around they go straight for him even if he doesnt have visual contact and no one enemy can come close to me without me seeing him , there is a small window gap when the module is in cooldown and that is 5 sec and in those 5 sec im on high alert.

When CRU is used near an objective in the taking i love it and when people stand still , very rarely , i repair their armor with the LLAV repair tool.

I use a militia heavy dropsuit because before i was running standard suit and most of the times i get killed the LLAV remained.

I rarely run people over and most of the time the team wins and i havent done any points and im most active on the map and i have a score like a MCC farmer , im just there , scanning , helping the way i can from my LLAV .
