i think (can be wrong) it would not much developpment time to add to the mini map the 3 other points, for now we only have N for north, having S W E would help a lot as sometime it can take (at least to me) a few second to sort out my mind to know where is east / west when the N of the mini map is at the bottom  |

So that thing IS an N!
I saw it the whole time but thought it was an arrow or something.
I would prefer a compass kinda like COD has that is centered at the top of your screen. Do to the small size of the current "N" adding the others could actually confuse me as I would really just see four small points.
If the letters were more legible then I could get behind this. |

I like the idea of grids on the overhead map.
I dislike the idea of a grid on the mini map.
My logic is simply that it would be relatively simple to implement on the overhead map, while the mini map would be quite a lot of work. Making the 'N' stand out more on the mini map would be FANTASTIC. |

Nothing like telling team-mates a target is west of Delta and they have no ****ing clue which way is west 
Also, while we're at it, can we have an option for a static mini-map that doesnt rotate with the player? Dynamic is great and all but some of us Forward Recon savvy types prefer to be able to just barely glance at the minimap for cardinal directions rather thanstudy it for cardinal North =3
Oooooh..... Now we need compass interference from the mountains in Manus Peak
