So, I spawned in at the CRU at the start of a game and my screen went black, thinking I would have to reset my PS3 I mashed all the buttons on my controller.. suddenly I was in the game, but with a twist, I WAS INVISIBLE!!!!

What a twist!
It's been going on for some time chipping away at player morale.
It must a horrible tangle of code to fix, or removing it will cause some other undesirable side effect like a very noticeable performance drop.
It's getting weirder by the day that it should be left to fester. |

Actually I'm pretty sure this happened in a match I was playing a week or so ago. The invisible merc was in the other team and kept killing my teamates as we tried to hack an objective. Shoots coming out of the blue. I tried to kill him, but easier said than done. :P
Pretty hard to return fire to an invisible target. Must be fun to kill ppl invisible though. |

Had this happen to me, except I wasn't completely invisible, it seems to only happen when I spawn on Uplinks. |

why the community is asking for cloaks i dont know,, ive seen cloaking ruin fps games,, every one just hiding cloaked, no one actually running and gunning in case they loose a life..
also really don't want jets either, I think it will bodge the game.. maybe thats just cus ive never flown in any fps ive ever played, prolly cus i could play a flight sim instead of a first 'person' shooter....
No cloaking! No jets! who's with me? |

i cant belive people are even thinking about this, unless the cloak was only active for say 10 sec before having to recharge for 60.
this ruined far cry 3, im sure there are others here that will back me up
a known and reported cheater was exploiting a glitch to go invisible,
ubisoft did nothing,
as he moved up the boards, we moved on to other games,
in my case to dust..... don't make the same mistake ccp |

Last I remember, they said you must decloak to attack. |

Why would CCP fix something that is working as intended?
You simply should have planned ahead and realized there was a chance for your screen to go completely black or that your character would go invisible. You chose to join that match, live with your decisions. |
