I am trying to finally get my proto logi suit, i have the level to 4. I was trying to check how much sp i had left to go before i can use it, and accidentally increased the level of my basic medium suit to 4. :/ . That is 300k plus sp. That equals about two weeks of full time playing for me. I rarely hit my cap before Wednesday. I think there should be an undo button for instances such as this. I submitted a help ticket to try and get them to bump the basic medium suits back down to level 3 for me, so let's see if that works. But an undo button would be very helpful for instances such as this.

I would say "Be more careful ya clutz" but I can see how that could be a problem.

I'm all for a quick mulligan.
Would also be good to physically see the stat dif for capacity oriented skills when you don't have a calculator and suck at math lol
If this doesn't happen then I'll be happy as long as CCP doesn't mind doing this manually via help desk.

That thing is pretty stupid because yeah: Of course you get your skillpoints back, but you don't get passive SP (at least that's the propsed idea CCP said they will look into). So instead of getting your skills back with this booster you can just wait a week longer without wasting any time on removing skills again. Then you will have both.

I can agree with this and a final confirmation window when leaving the skillscreen, along with a list of all selected skills and costs thereof would be a good way to achieve this.

The two minute counter requires players to notice their error quite quickly and i think that this might not be always the case.

In that case, a confirmation window will do just fine.

A confirmation window would be a better idea than a two minute undo. And CCP replied to my request by saying basically, if YOU did it, WE ain't fixin' it. So, i guess i can be glad it was only 300k sp instead of 1 mill plus sp, but still a major pain in the ass. Guess thats another two weeks on top of the other 4 that it would have taken. At least CCP doesn't constantly increase the skills required for certain modules. O_o.

Actually in my topic post, i was asking for an undo button, but CCP will never do that. Your idea of a SP Purchase confirmation screen is a much better and more likely to be incorporated idea. :). And maybe they can add a system to where you can put a certain number of skill points into a skill without leveling it up, just like how you can purchase isk based items without having the prerequisites for the item in question. this would eliminate any accidental purchase when you have a a lot of sp on hand because you will be putting sp towards your goal instead of pooling the sp. But, Still have a confirmation screen to make sure you afre putting points into the right place.

I did this too with a totally useless skill (for this character) due to the interface lagging out. It's my fault and I accept that, but a confirmation window is standard UX practice when the user makes a permanent/irreversible decision.
