When you notice that he shoots ST-1 Missile Launcher at the enemy MCC only to explode not even halfway there. Yet he still unleash suppressive fire.

If he cant figure out that a shot or two in a direction means "Hey lets head over there" I bail and leave him there |

Uh, no.
I've had blues shoot at air for an entire match. As well as the MCC, the ground, friendly installations, etc.
Every once in a while though, I get a random gunner who is worth their weight in gold. Those times are when I wish they would actually get out so I can call in a tank with non crap small turrets. Never happens though. |

Sometimes I drive to the ass end of nowhere to tell my gunner "get out so I can recall- I called in the wrong fit" |

Well were you actually near some enemies for them to shoot?
The spraying fire is usually a signal that they are ready to go tear some **** up |

Mind you I sometimes go for the lower hatch since enemies don't notice it as much as the upper one, your plasma shots will also not go slightly left of your actual crosshair due to the 80gj gun's movement |

Drivers know where they're going. If he/she doesn't believe that an area can be cleared safely, then they won't head over there for a while.
I understand the frustration with people trying to be good gunners, but they wouldn't understand until they drive tanks consistently. |
