How do I fire guns as a dropship pilot?

Dropships need the bay door function to work, imagine people realizing they could use DS's as battleships and having broadside FG barrages. It would be beautiful.

Skill into Assault Dropship.

The thing is damn fast. Get 2.5k+ armor/shield to tank a good rail shot and an afterburner to disappear into the clouds.

Hit and run like a mofo.

And never go toe to toe with blaster turrets.

I respec-¦ed out of dropships and i regret it
i love flying and being in the ground with an AR isnt for me.
I spec-¦ed out of them because i wanted to be useful in PC and be able to earn some money in PUBs so i spec-¦ed into logis and i regret that too.
I learned, that you dont need to be in a mainstream fit to be useful, you can be as good as everyone else just by using the fit you like, doesnt matter, how "bad" it is. (like scouts, Pyrex can use scouts like a boss, but everyone else thinks scouts are crap)

So a tip for all those out there who dont want to play a certain role because its not "good": You can play whatever role you want and still kick ass
