Starting to see a pattern and I believe less and less this has anything to do with weapon design and more to do with people and their love for Q.Q. What if flaylock bets nerfed and contacts get removed? What next? The game will be fine? You promise no more Q.Q? |

PC is great when its all people using proto and working together its the only time you get a true competitive challenge unfortunately CCP is completely inept at designing a system that is fair for both the attackers and defenders. |

It was absurd how much better the matches were.
However.. as someone above me said... the asymmetric design of most maps leaves one side or another with a distinct advantage depending on the map.. and is unfortunately also a very serious issue. |

Everyone can use them though. I don't understand, it isn't like only some people can use them and they have an unfair edge. Everyone can have the same edge if they want, seems balanced to me. I think they made the agreement to prevent people from crying cuz they knew people would. |

The esport types just need a ranked 6v6 with an option for each team to ban 3 items each match.. lol

Ok so I haven't done PC, but I have dealt with both weapons. I have felt that if there were a wider variety of maps (and not simply rehashes of the same one) the problem could be solved. These are both area effect weapons and given the generally open nature of the map combined with lots and lots of dead end death traps these weapon do and should dominate. I just dont think its the weapons fault. I think we need a lot more maps. Maps that nerf the use of those weapons. Since you guys deal with it more what do you think? |

I guess to be fair I have to ask; is there NO ONE in dust that has consistantly found a way to counter these weapons? The contact grenade is.....frustrating. As far as the flaylock, if I can hear the first round and its direction (and Im not in a dead end) and can usually gtfo...and Im no expert. Even I have a chance at waxing them in the open. Has no one found a consistant counter? |

Do you get tired of complaining about other people having fun? This is like the 5th time ive seen you whining about the Flaylock / Fused agreement. The simple fact is, it made the matches better, its not our fault we have to do what CCP cant/wont do. Its the same thing that happened in BF3, in the begin the Usas w/frags was banned then the Famas. Its about trying to make the matches fair and balanced which CCP knows absolutely nothing about.
Besides Ive only seen this agreement hold up vs Hellstorm we've faced plenty of teams that use them, its just any kind of CQC fighting in the compound is a complete joke.
As for people talking counters and such its simple, you've never played PC or you've never played a PC vs a good team, 10on10 in the compound all spamming flaylocks and fused is not fun at all lol. |
