RFoM has custom lobby's and is still arguably one of the top 5 best shooters released this generation.

I could level back up to max in a day or two IIRC. In BF3 you can unlock enough guns, attachments and perks to go toe-to-toe with veteran players within a week, maybe 2. In Dust514 it takes a lot longer to become competitive.

The only thing I liked about the Atac was the, basically, free 4x scope attachment. Dat pistol. Best frickin' main disguised as a side arm in the game. The TMP was great if you didn't have the refire upgrades, but still paled in comparison to the pistol. THAT WAS A GODLY PISTOL! Also had the best shotgun. Then the SMG (though I liked the Viperia better) was great! plink plink plink plink plink If you can't tell, I loved CQC. Loved it. I loved the gun-play in that game period. Yep. There it is! I'm feeling pangs of emotion now! Darn it, M.A.G.

I liked using all of the electronics stuff so I could relay all the goodies to the sniper I worked with.... its sad that in dust there is not reason to work with snipers in pairs.

My favorite piece of equipment was the sensor jammer. I used to hide in the bushes on raven sabotage then pounce like a puma.

I loved running in a squad all with scilenced wepons , acoustic locators, sensor jammers, working behind the enimys line taking out all their instalations like the anti air defenses, morter battarys ect that was proper covert style, scouts have it easy hear compaird to mag.

Funny, I remember reading similar comments about MAG within the first two months of it's launch. 1.3 was in March, IIRC, and it was hated by the community, wasn't it? It wasn't until September that Zipper "upgraded" to 2.0, expanded and replaced their entire skill tree system. During that whole time, the forums were contantly full of complaints about weapon balance, or how Zipper never listened to the community and/or made poor, game-breaking decisions (I.e. random bullet spread). MAG also had it's fair share of doomsayers predicting it wouldn't survive it's first year, or that it was a failure. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? It'll be interesting to see where everyone will end up four years from now.

LOL, ok so your point of visiting the forums? Some of you guys sound like an old lady that whines about how she is misused by her peers but yet continues to do things for them. Dust has a great future. But some people don't care how a house built, they just want the finished product. Until then, they gripe about the whole process. Only ones delusional enough to think Dust has a great future are scrub FPS players with no skill and EVE fanbois. It is the very reason i still come to these forums, to point and laugh at the kid sitting in the corner with the dunce cap on. I feel sad for you.

Styli one of the founders of KEQ giving his great motivational speeches after every match. Staying on Valor taking any noob in with a mic playing as a team. BHD on SVER Plym the founder of BHD playing MAG to have fun good peoples. Pro with contra ban Joe it's leader doing some off the wall tactics. Clans like Dark Flock,VC,3C, Death Dealers,MOD, RND,WTF,Deadly Blue Dots, OSG, so many other clans just having great battles. Mag is the best FPS I've ever played. The comms were the best OIC made you feel like a general. Dust will never have that magic of 256 players on one map. Bunker goes down you ninja sneak to repair it so you can spwan and get the front line back up. APC's carry troops were used as foward spawn points. Fixing the triple AAA to shoot down enemy planes that would drop bombs. You had respec option so you wasn't stuck in one class. I hate Dust i will miss mag i hope a developer looks at the good things mag did and build on it.

He said Domination in the morning, then aqu and sabo for the rest of day. I'm going to play Mag on the weekends till Sony turn off the servers. I will no longer play Dust. Mag Vets come back to Mag in the morning so can have some fun again. I hope to see some of the Mag clans again.
