the life span of a mosquito is about a month(complete life cycle) so they don't go anywhere in the winter, they die(then presumably go to hell). mosquito eggs however can be dormant for up to 3 years hatching when the weather is right.when it gets cold the mosquitoes die but their eggs do not.
