I have been playing since the very first invites went out to EVE players and I really do see the promise of this game, but currently it is falling VERY short on the integration side. I think the weakest link is FW in Dust. It has absolutely no meaning to Dust mercs other than a longer queue in the warbarge to wait for the match to start. I too have spent a good amount of cash buying merc packs, and I'm also still butt angry about how CCP backpedaled on their AURUM refund policy there. Obvious money grab is obvious. Unfortunately I am an old man and so patient I will continue to play this game for the potential it has, but CCP is foolish to think that the average consumer of a free-to-play, free-to-download game will keep plugging away at this half-finished game simply because of its potential.
