I was wondering what the dev wanted to say by telling us that the new matchmaking is going to have less dependency on individual players. So a thought came to my mind, is there other way to lower individual player influence on the battlefield other than increasing the number of players in the match? Does it means that we are probably going to get 24vs24 or 32vs32 matches? what you guys of the community think about it? |

What i believe he meant was that the teams are set up to be similarly strong yet not necessarily composed of only similarly strong players. So there's some variance of skill/SP/gear within each team.
And i think this is the only way you should go in dust. |

What he probably ment was that they are trying to move some code for calculations/processing more to the server side. This way it will reduce lag and yes it will make it easier to implement 24vs24 and 32 vs 32. |

yeah 128vs128 would be cool but we should not even hope for something like it.
thx for the info of those who replied but could a dev or a CPM shed some light in this subject giving a hint about what they are planning/ doing?
I know CCP loves to give us surprises but any information would be greatily appreciated.
