So i just started my playing dust 514 and got interested with the lav and went into caldari logistic lav and need help / so far i have an advance missil turet / 1 millita shield exender / 2 millita resistence / 1 millita shield recharger / ill take any important info (\/)_(O.0)_(\/) |

All of the core vehicle skills are important, with a Cal LLAV you should focus on the shield skills first. Because your using a LLAV weapons skills are your last priority. |

if you want to kill infantry then use a scatter blaster with a good gunner, you need to know when to stop and let your gunner get kills. this takes experience that leads to instinct and knowing your radar.
a good LLAV driver is watching the healht of his gunner. and he will keep the passenger seat open to his gunner so he can take cover when his health is low you must yell to him to switch seats as he will be focusing on firing the turret. it is also wise to fit an active scanner if you plan to assault infantry.
you can also use this and keep your rear to the reds while looking in reverse with L2, normal light weapons will not get to you. unless they flank around and shoot you from the front, which is why you active scan to make sure they are behind you. |

Here the fit I use, 2 lvl 1 shield boosters. 2 lvl 3 shield resistant mods. 2 lvl 3 pg extenders. With this you can dule rep your shield and have 50% shield resistance. |

Do The llav still get a damage penalty because, i really want to make an effective e tank and installation killer. |

Ideally you'll have a proper shield extender, the militia one is really bad. A single booster and couple of resists goes a long way to help you survive. Low slots are just for helping you fit everything. |

Fon an effective caldari murder taxi simply apply 2 local power diognostic systems 1 light clarity ward shield booster 3ward shield amplifiers and a 20gj scattered ion cannon +gunner. Dont forget to wear your heavy suit as well as have your gunner adorna fat suit then let the good times roll. |

From doing some generic testing (i.e just my impression after using both) yes the LLAV damage penalty is still in effect. |
