It was merely a sarcastic note on how many people post "I quit" threads and stick around, wasting time on a game forum they don't like due to some "Vendetta" instead of playing a game that they actually like or something else with positive memory associations.

If changes came quick and fast, even without telling us about it, there wouldn't be any periods of time where the community is inflicted by boredom and decides to make threads complaining about things. It'd constantly be discussion about what changed, what this means, etc. Although it would eventually have to slow down, or people would start complaining about too much change. Right now though, I think the community would be forgiving if CCP tried to rectify things and made mistakes now, instead of two years down the track. Many still don't see the game as truly being released (myself included) and I don't mind if they accidently screw up and overcompensate for armour for example, and make armour tanking OP, or shield tanks OP, or new modules OP, if they fix it quickly and consistently. Furthermore, new content (hell, base content) isn't fully out yet to make the game enjoyable for months. Hell, I'd argue (and have argued) the SP system isn't perfect and could be changed. The game isn't complete and for CCP to slowly release changes after careful deliberation is folly. Save careful deliberation for when the foundations are solid. Now is the time to imagine, test, play around with and mess up, because what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And right now, I dare say, there isn't much to kill.

Seems like the publishing restrictions Sony has in place for console games is destroying Dust. Game breaking bugs stay around for months, when they shouldn't have been in for more than 2 weeks at most... all because they have to follow an expensive patch deployment process. So many mistakes... its unbelievable. Dust is failing into irrelevancy... and it had so much potential too. Right there with you Sota... was really hoping for an awesome FPS experience. Its unbelievable how badly Uprising has ruined this game.
