This Planetary Conquest is a joke. I can play skirmishes all day long with no lagg. I reset before my PC battle, and then once we start the PC battle suddenly it's like I'm back on dialup in the late 90's. How can you play when your shots fired are delayed by 10 seconds, when your feet are in the ground and half your body is out, and when you throw a grenade suddenly it bounces back at you because you're not inside anymore, but you're in a hallway, and you kill yourself. This is a Joke. it is a mess.
The second thing I'd like to say is, that there is no way to fight through this lagg with 100 clones vs 450 clones. Even if there was no lagg, there is no way to ever take a district when the defender can keep spawning unlimited. Coupled with lagg, it's absurd and a joke. I don't care who is playing. Such garbage game mechanics do not belong in a competitive game.
Fix this or you will certainly lose any hope of making PC anything any players care about. Right now it is an embarrassment to CCP and EVE. A straight up embarrassment. |

Only had lag spikes in CB recently (enemy immune to bullets, but i get the vibe that i might have been immune too when it happened) nothing as bad as it used to be. |

If you own no districts you can only send in a starter pack of 100 clones.
It is awful when you are fighting a production facility of 450 clones.

I haven't reset my PlayStation once today and have played 4 corp matches no lag here... I have actually stopped reseting since 1 2, I haven't had one PC match lag on me since then as well... Used to get lag and frame rate issues pre 1.2 all the time, I run on medium settings not sure if that makes a difference.. |

This has been bothering me a lot.
Ok letGÇÖs assume you have no districts yet, youGÇÖre a new corp and you have been training in faction battles as a team to try and get some experience in since that the only training you can really get.
Your about to send 100 clones against what you consider a corp you at least stand a good chance against. So the hour of the attack hits and itGÇÖs you vs said corp who show up with a full team and no ringers NICE!!

*The odds 100 vs 300 clones of which the enemy can in reality lose 299 of as long as they win because if they win (and with 3 times the clone power and all the suicidal benefits that brings) they are safe for 48 hours so having just 1 clone left aint no big deal.
Yet you did win which was epic considering even the most pitiful land owning corp has most likely had plenty of corp battle experience against a wide variety of foes if not literally hundreds of PC fights and you had faction warfare to train in lmfao. GÇ£send in the second attack yarrrrGÇ¥ which in turn is followed by 24 hours of sitting on your butt.
Only your foe is not sat on his butt heGÇÖs calling in favours all over his alliance and every good merc he can talk too and heGÇÖs got 24hour to fix this up.
Your second attack goes in and you waddle away butt sore as hell.
Welcome to PC buddyGÇÖs.
TLDR. If you donGÇÖt own a district you have no access to instant re attacks and the only real way for any corp to stand a chance to get into PC right now is via the meta game. Someone needs to sell / give you a district.
DonGÇÖt get me wrong some corps will manage this and fair play to them but look around the map and ask yourself how many of these mostly unheard of corps managed to beat the odds or did almost all of them buy their way in?
Disclaimer: Yes IGÇÖm aware IGÇÖm part of the problem as are most of the large alliances involved in PC but that does not detract from the fact that this system its self is letting the new blood down. |

I've tried to ask CCP to explain what factors contribute to laggy games, they told everyone to use push to talk.
But I have come to the conclusion, IF your entire GROUP of Players doesn't have the same type of connection, wonkiness and bullplop abound. What I mean by this is that everyone should have ports open or their router in a DMZ. They should all be hard wired with at least 8mb down and 2 up.
SONY Support requests that you leave Upnp ON in your routers settings as the psn needs it to get past the ISP's (general) firewall. CCP Support recommends turning OFF Upnp....
SO what does a player do? I've left it on and turned it off, when I turned Upnp off it was some of the laggiest games I have been in, yes I made sure to open up the correct ports for both dust and the psn.
It eventually comes down to squads at this point.... I play solo and I have less problems with hit detection, IT is also tough to tell if your bullets are missing or they are hitting someone who went invisible either by legit game glitch or they actively did it and because auto aim even when off will do some strange things like track the enemy just enough to miss them no matter how far in front of them you shoot to compensate for lag.
Then ask yourself this, did you have a team made up of multiple region players vs a team of players from 1 general region? or reverse it.
But all this is rendered a moot point as the basic system is flawed, each side should have the same amount of clones, no matter what the facility produces... you are already gimping the match by having a set time, but then again there goes a sneak attack....hrmm how many real world battles have been won like that..... if the defenders are not online when you attack you fight their drone defense ( I just watched the secondary character opening movie cinematic again...drones looked like it would distract me from the monetany that is the random skirmish battle and the pc that just stinks) but we don't have that.
The situation gets compounded because CCP said themselves that they deliberately didn't not open up more than 5% or some such value of the total area that could ONE DAY be contested, to test what would happen. |

We aren't having any issues with lag in PC ATM.
Make sure to join battle with squads in squad chat and join within 2 minutes of battle being available. I'd close all your excess channels too.
They should have two types of clone packs with one being for corps without territory. Call it a starter pack and give them 150 clones. |

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we were the only ones with horrible lag. I have no doubt in my mind that the defending team experienced lag as well. My complaint is on the fact that there was this lag, only related to PC battles, and that coupled with the disadvantage of starting only with 100 clones vs 450... It's not right. |

You are lucky. We have everyone do a fresh reset. Everyone sets to push to talk, no one opens any windows etc... But don't you see the problem? Why are we jumping through hoops? It's absurd. |
