When the skill that gave 25% to shields/armor was removed instead we got 2% to shield/armor resistance.
Tanks also got a large health buff during that time, while dropships got nothing.
As if they weren't weak enough in chromosome with uprising we lost 25%hp shield/armor.
The extra resistance does little because all weapons got a 10% damage buff.(not having to spend sp on weaponry skill).

it was shocking to open the forums one day and see a thread about how vehicles were getting a hp buff, my cheeks flushed and my heart started pounding, FINALLY more dropship hp, only to find that it was for tanks and LAV's.
It saddens me that a free LAV has almost as much shield hp as my assault dropship, even with two azeoplatics on. I have a little more EHP (i think) but thats due to my fit and skills. I mean its not like the dropship is twice its size or anything...
glad to see that you have reached this conclusion too, if anybody wants to know why dropship pilots gripe so much, they just need to try and fly one themselves, most wont get past a viper. |

I can get 3000+ shields with logi lav that has 52% resistances(not fully skilled) that's a hell of a lot more ehp. its kinda silly. Dropships lost 25%shields and armor for 10% resistance. its a big pile of heaping poop. Not to mention we have no vehicle devs willing or able to communicate future plans if any. |
