Day 1: They're calling it the great war. The largest ground conflict to date....and for good reason. Billions of risk spent in the first hour. A thousand livesin ten minutes. I'm still awaiting orders on a space station somewhere outside of Molden heath. I was on leave when Hellstorm's shock troops made their first move, only to be beaten back, and escorted out by Internal Error's Special Weapons Brigade. My boys in Molan Labe didn't do great either. They had four tanks thrown at them and I was nowhere to be found. I feel bad knowing their deaths are partially my fault. I wish my old friends Devonte, Bob, or Grodd were still around to help.Eon has great tanks and honestly, ImI'm afraid. TThey've taken down some of the best, but then again, so have I. I'm ready tospend millions when I make the jump. II've trained my whole life for thisoment. I can't let anyone down...worst part: old buddies on every side. It will hurt me more than it hurts then when I see their bodies explode from a rail to the chest. |

Day:1 As I walked on the the battlefield today, I found my self lost not knowing what to do. As my heart was racing I realized this is different from a mercenary battle. This wasn't just for the isk . This wasn't just for my leaders who send me here to fight there war. This was for the men and women left and right from me. My boy just in one day I seen hundreds die. Its hard out here for my kind. Its not everyday you see a medic run a cross a fire fight to save a falling comrade. My boy I hope you don't have to go through what I'm going through right now. I'll make everything better before you have to see the god forsaken place. Tomorrow I'll be setting foot on to another battlefield not knowing what's to come. Remember son this is only day one. Its only going to get Harder and harder. Pray for daddy. pray so I can come home early. I love you son. |

day 1:
Cubs threw a sleep over. Everyone brought pajamas and BYOB'd - a night filled with laughter and drunk talk.
But all was not as it seemed. War was coming. The thoundering sounds of tanks smashing rocks and MAV's transporting troops could be seen over countless worlds - Thousands - hundreds of thousand - prepared for battle - prepared to die.
But on this day - we drank with our enemies and friends. For war may be deadly and cruel - but we are not.
May we all find peace on the battlefield as I have found in your underwear draws Cubs. Teddy bear, poka-dots, rainbows, even the ninja turtles. A truly wonderful place. |

Look on the bright side Odell. Some of your old buddies, such as me, have chosen to gracefully retire and thus we no longer shoot our former brethren in the face.

You could always surrender and give us your districts :P But that would be a bit boring, I'd rather fight for domination.
Oh ya, Grodd is now Eon :)
GL on the battlefield, but a side question, why are you participating in this war???? Didint you leave TeamPlayers because you were scared/frustrated about all the fighting?? It's a little confusing and saddens to see you on the enemy team :(

Day 2: (This is my Charlotte O'Dell's alt)
I've fought many battles for the poorest of warlords to the richest of mercenary groups and none of that prepared me for what I saw this first day. Fighting day in and day out. 3 battles against Red Star were my first introduction to the Great War. Honestly, it wasn't so much Red Star as Outer Heaven; it was hard watching former friends cut the throats of rackmates. I did my job well, however, and not a single tank got past me. Often, I was taking on two at once- I even managed to beat armor tanks with glass cannons like back in the day. After that, Pheonix [something or other] was manned by Outer Heaven and 1 tanker who I made very short work of. Finally, we had a good fight against Outer Heaven and they brought 2 tanks who were better than recent competition, but I still killed them 4 times, where they killed me once- I still got it. All of those were not quite slaughter fests, but what was to come would leave me speachless for some time.
Hellstorm vs Team Players- red lined our infantry and kept me from helping with 3 tanks. I destroyed a couple from 500m away, but once they realized who was shooting at them, all 3 converged on my position and lit me up. Finally, I lost a tank without making a stupid mistake. I felt like a Tiger Tank being overrun by Shermans for days, I guess. By the end of it, bodies were everywhere. It kind of made me miss the old boys of Pink Fluffy- they were good. Really good. Still, I feel a bond with them that no one else comes close to. It was something you earned. Not like any other corp where you had connections or you were just let in. You had to be good. Really good.
Tomorrow looks bleak if I have to fight team players by myself, again. Don't get me wrong- I'm good...but I'm not amazing. I pray for the lost souls of this day. I pray that the enemy will show us mercy. I pray that this is not our final hour. I vow to fight this to the bitter end...if for nothing else, to prove to myself that i can tought it out through the hard times...I weakness of mine since day one.

I was attached to the Onikage 2nd Tank Brigade, and was charged with stopping superior numbers of enemy armor from crossing the League's lines. I was given funding for top of the line machines by the League and took no time deploying the biggest guns I could mount on anything. The great gear combined with my extensive knowledge of tank-hunter tactics net me a total of 14 tanks over the night, while losing only 4.

Before the day would end, one more battle would be fought. The Battle of Bloody Bridge, where Hellstorm mustered all it could and through it at Eon's most elite special forces unit- The Team Players Strike Force- 1st platoon. We knew we would lose, so my orders were simple: hold the line at any cost- sp I did what any rational tanker with infinite money would do and rammed every tank I saw. They figured out quickly that I could easily take them 1 v 1, so they never left eachother's side, and I lost 7 tanks that battle, and only killed 2. It was a dark day. A day I want to forget.
Tomorrow we take on their 4th Combat Engineer Corps. bleak if I have to fight team players by myself, again. Don't get me wrong- I'm good...but I'm not amazing. I pray for the lost souls of this day. Day 3:
For me, the war ended today. Several battles were fought, but 2 stand out to me.
In a battle against Red Star, I, and 3 others, were to pilot dropships into the middle of enemy territory to delivery a 16-man strike team to disable a cloning facility. However, all of ours doors would not open and we could not leave our dropships, thus, we all attempted to crash into a tank below; none of them died and we lost 16 clones and the district.
The final battle was one I will never forget. It was Molan Labe's last district and I was the only tanker left; charged with defending agains Pheonix's tanks and OH's infantry. I never lost a tank battle, but we lost the district, and the war, as I see it. I think I'll go back home, now. See my family. Mellow out. Not sure where I will be going from here, as I need to play PC to make money with tanks, but for now, at least, I'll be laughing this 4 day war off with my boys. I'm still sad that the only really good tanker I got to fight was Covert Clay, Exergonic, and Imagio. I was looking forward to fighting Movado and Fighter, too. Great fights against those 3, anyhow. All the other tankers I went against were pushovers, for the most part.
