I think the betting portion of the game should be 3rd party Applications.... also turns into another marking force for eve and dust |

Dust runs on the CREST api, not the Eve Api.
CREST is just starting to be rolled out to end users. If everything goes to plan, Dust features will be exposed as well. |

Soon-ish, Dust 514 is CREST API powered so soon as they get it out of alpha we should be able to start messing with things. |

No one but the CPM and possibly the CSM knows when that's coming.
The main difference between the two, just as an FYI, is that the regular Eve API only provides basic information such as your character sheet, in-game mail, current implants fitted, assets that you have, your wallet, etc. The new CREST API is a much more advanced version that allows greater flexibility. The PS VITA's Neocom is rumored to work on that. |
