Just had a pretty game breaking, and amusing bug, happen to me twice today. I was able to duplicate it reliably. If you run into the black screen bug when you start a match the steps to reproduce are:
(1) Press the start button and navigate to the overview map
(2) Press the up button on your d-pad to go to player list
(3) Press "O" to back out all the way to the match and you will now be invisible
This is reliant on the black screen bug happening first and I do not know how to reproduce that part. Note: you will be hated for this. I received a couple of very hateful emails threatening that they were going to report me lmao... like its my fault the bug is present? CCP your coders screwed up big time! |

meh just hit select and start at the same time when having the blackscreen bug and you are good to go. quite stupid. |

Any idea if this is going to be fixed? Still happening on occasion. Still no idea how the black screen bug happens but if it does happen it is easy to turn yourself invisible. |

The fact they you're going to abuse the glitch should get you banned. If we can't see you right in front of use and you can still kill us, that's pretty much cheating. And I would also like to tell you guys who are abusing this glitch, in EVE, a corp was abusing a glitch which allowed them to gain BILLIONS of ISK. When CCP found out about the glitch and fixed it, the corp got a negative amount of ISK and then was banned from EVE. So before you decide to abuse this glitch, just know CCP isn't a big fan of people who cheat. Might not be your fault it's in the game, but you can easily commit suicide to end the glitch. If you suck so much that you have to cheat lol that's sad. But no matter, you'll be gone when CCP fixes it. |

Actually no you cannot commit suicide because it tells you that you are not alive. I know I tried. The only way to get rid of the glitch is to leave the match or AFK in the MCC til the end. |

EDIT: also I don't think it ends that way but idk I never commit suicide ik if they kill u (they can) u still r invisible when u respawn

Well ok then. Then in my opinion you should just run around or go in the middle of the battlefield and hope someone throws a grenade. If you don't wanna do that, then just leave the match. Don't get on the forum and tell people how to do it, you're just as guilty as the people who abuse this stupid glitch.Quote: I approve of ur message demon +1

This is just a recent issue I do believe is why they haven't fixed it now. They will though, CCP might be slow and might screw things up sometime but they do get the job done, and they punish the people that deserve it. |
