I am curious how they are to befit.I have people tell me it shouldn't have an armor repair tool I it but instead use the built in repair tool and armor tank the rest(Using Limbus)What is a good way to fit it for a noob to the LLV and what should I go for later on?Example fits appreciated. |

Fit it with nothing but active scanners and overdrive modules. You'll be a god on the battlefield. |

No the LLV can't repair itself unless it has an armor rep module on it.iIt doesn't do it passively like the Logo suits.Some helpful answers please,anyone? |

My personal death machine gets me around the battlefield and rolling over corpses quite nicely and is as follows

1x ST-1 Fragmented Missile Launcher
1x F-84 Active Scanner
1x Supplemental Shield Amplifier
1x Shield Extender I
2x Voltaic Energized Plating
1x Light Efficient Armor Repair Unit
================================
1259 HP Shields / 16.34% Resist
2597 HP Armor / 53.43% Resist
8.56 Shield Regeneration
172 / 177 CPU
283 / 289 PG

Being an armor tanker I have another 4% Resist I could possibly tack onto the shield resist but it would cost 671,520 Sp and could also get another 6% LLAV armor resist by skilling from level 2 to 5 for another 1,660,234 Sp but it hardly is worth it right now with other things on the horizon for that little gain. Besides it works just fine :)
My 1.7 mil fit tank has nothing on the LLAV survivability. |

why would you get an armor lav when swarms and av nades are the most likely to hit you? |

Because armor is your hull,you lose your hull you lose the ship.A shield tank usually has little hope once its shield is gone.it can't rep it's hull. |

On the flipside a Shield tank has the buffer of armor if fecalmatter goes fanwards, but once the Armor tanker's armor is gone it's too late... in DUST anyway. Plus there are no shield killer AVs. |
