There's nothing wrong with playing in large groups with your friends and allies. The problem is CCP didn't bother to create any sort of new player experience to explain to these new players how they can become one of the stompers instead of being the stomped. Playing with your friends in a coordinated manner is the only thing that makes the game bearable, and unless I'm wildly misunderstanding CCP's vision of the game, it's exactly how the game was made to be played.

Until CCP bothers to create real tutorials that explain the game as it actually functions, new players will be turned away. Right now, the corps that are "proto stomping pub matches" are the people keeping this game afloat.

It doesn't make any sense to blame the people who are actually playing the game and having fun for the fact that CCP can't figure out how to explain to new players how to have fun playing the game too.

Everything that kills them somehow ends up being a broken game mechanic or a balance issue. They are just too badass to die so something must be broken. They don't like the way you play so ccp should stop your tactics. They don't like your weapon of choice so it's op. it s rediculous.

I feel like 85% of all new players are there just to keep the vets entertained.

And do you really expect people to use poor gear just out of the kindness of their hearts? Faction Warfare battles spawn far too rarely, and they fill up fast enough that you're likely to have a few members of your squad not make it in.

This game should still be in Beta, so many issues to sort out, ridiculous bugs occurring and so many balancing issues. CCP released it as a full game and now we fully expect a proper, full game. It being Free 2 Play doesn't give it the ability to be ****, it's frustrating, that's why everyone complains.
