I mean really, holy crap. If you call in any thing there is a literal storm of swarm missiles. I understand the vehicle hate due to the plague of LAV's and LLAV's and think that this was the natural evolution of the game, no hate here just want to know how many? Maybe I'm having some bad luck and landing in matches with these guys so just asking. |

I upped my forge gun from militia to assault and have plans of moving up to my Ishokune within the month for three reasons
LAVs are stupid
HAVs are fun to kill
Dropships deserve to die
And then there's the secret bonus fourth reason: 1.2 tower sniping with a forge is the most rage inducing, tear collecting, win harvesting thing in the game right now. Such sweet glorious tears.

I'm at swarm prof 2. I made a logi fit that's extremely expensive to run with no sidearm. I don't even care though because I love destroying vehicles.
I still have hate left over from closed beta |

Forge rather than Swarms though.
Are most of the Swarms the prototype Wiyrkomi? My impression was the majority were of the advanced model. C-whatever Specialist Swarm Launcher. 250k SP investment into an AV option on the side rather than the full 900k SP plus whatever goes in Proficiency.
You'll cut out most of the non-dedicated AV users by knocking out their supply depot. Deny them the option to switch on the fly then get back to their primary fits when they're done. |

Ever since the 3x week I've noticed a lot more Proto AV users, which wouldn't be bad, if..... CCP WOULD JUST GIVE US PROTO VEHICLES ALREADY! |

Have a proto swarm alt. Can cook up a delicious LAV barbeque.
Funny thing is, he's just an alt. Takes so little SP to counter the close to 10m SP this guy has in tanks. |

It only takes me 2 Hacked Exos to take out free LAVs.

I have an alt with forge prof 5.
Ishukone Assault Forge and Ishukone Assault SMG make a potwnt team. I could add proto AV grenades, but why waste the SP when I still have a couple thousand hacked AV from the market error. |

Only ADV, but here's my 0.02 ISK....
Mordu's challenge this week will bring out the AV and snipers.
I hit a redberry LAV farm on the outskirts of a few OMS matches last and knocked off at least 10 LAVs each time.
Next week teams will be back to disregarding the threat of vehicular homicide. |

Absolutely.
It would probably match a predator-prey model as well.
A lot of easy foot soldiers to run over creates a beneficial environment for the murder taxi.
Now a new predator comes in, the AV Proto soldier. This discourages the Murder Taxi drivers.
As murder taxi population decreases you'll see less Proto AV over time.
Which means we're back to defenseless targets to run over, Murder Taxis back up.
and so on...and so on....and so on... |

nothing wrong with going proto AV, once they fix the av nades and Add proto tanks(fix shielders) it'll all be good. |

I spec'd into LLAVs shortly before the optional respec. The optional respec allowed me to drop lasers and pick up proto swarms. Murder taxiing was nice and dandy for a while, but I find more joy and intensity in hunting down tanks, which is a complicated process, hunting the hunters. Gotta cut off their escape route, catch them from behind, ensure your own cover and escape route, and not get ganked by some GEK. |

Definitely. On a newer alt this morning, I spent points to get AV simply to counter a corp that was rail sniping and using LAVs to demolish the teams they were going against. It only took two pubstomps before buying the AVs and creating a new dropsuit fitting specifically for vehicle murder. It felt pretty good to wreck their tank(s), just knowing that one tank cost more isk than the accumulative isk I spent for every death. K/d is whatever, as long as I'm successfully costing them isk. |

It's due to the event of destroying installations, so everyone and their mother is using AV. |

When I brought out the AV and swarmers in one vehistomp match, my team started bringing out their anti-armor builds. It was a thing of beauty. |
