Just saying, New Eden has a really bad habit of not documenting a damned thing and then flying into a red red rage when theyre not acknowledged of the fact. This is going into Dust's history and as far as anyone's concerned it will be viewed as a major war as its not just word-of-mouth re-tellings and hearsay.

Iftheres an accurate article on the war with Orion, then Ill admit that Im wrong but considering that Ive played since June 2012 -every day- and still not heard of it, couldnt be that spectacular xD

Totally agree with what you are doing but requiring this much info might scare people off from getting involved. All we really need are the timers and locations of each attack from all the warring Corporations. They rest can be figured out from watching the map.

This is important to that history. To that end, Im making an effort to record every detail. I have made an effort to attain CCP's help in the documentation with actualy kills/deaths data but theres no real practical way to do it, especially with their workload. So its all manual. But ill need help. I need volunteers to help document EVERY BATTLE of the war as Im unfortunately limited to seeing just my corp's battles. Theeasiest way to do this is through the forums and Ive made a very simple template that you guys can copy/paste and fill out. Ill give an example below (purely an example with random location). The best way to record casuality reports is via a screenshot of the end of game battle report showing all the players, their K/D, and their WP. This is rather important for accuracy but not necessary. All information should be filled out as accurately as possible but keep in mind that its understoodhow hard this can be, so dont be afraid to put 'unknown' if you dont know. Bear in mind battles will have multiple reports so it will be fruitless to post fake reports. Please dont try this as it will just make you look stupid. Thanks mates. Might be the case but thats just enough information for something like Dust Reports, coincidentally. Currently trying to get interviews with various players about their roles and motivations concerned the war, the real fruit and seeds, not just the pie at the end of the cooking process. Hence why I need volunteers, players to helpwith this project. Or we can just forget this **** ever happened like everything else.

Only issue with gaining this info as we would need somebody willing to cooperate in each and every battle to provide details. I would be willing to gather and arrange the info for all Hellstorm related battles, but I would obviously need somebody in every match to give me the appropriate data if I wasn't fighting in it. And something tells me this would be more difficult than it sounds. Open to suggestions.

Just the same info we still at the end of the match that the player sees, sort of like kill mails in Eve.
