The Titans of EVE Online are several kilometers long, basically the size of new York city (you can see comparisons of it on youtube), they are the most heavily armed ships and the longest to build.
The Amarr Titan- The Avatar
The Gallente Titan- The Erebus
The Caldari Titan- The Leviathan
The Minmatar Titan- The Ragnarok
Each of the Empires have their own Titan for space, since Dust 514 is still far from complete and still mossing over 50% of its content, one has to wonder, what will become the ground Titans of Dust 514?
we all know that HAVs will not be the Titans, they are too small to become one, plus with all the new stuff that will eventually be added over time, there will most likely be things that are probably as big as some of the current maps and will be deployable in battle where the maps are miles wide, itl probably be mobile bases, I honestly have no idea, im just throwing **** out there as possibilities, I just started thinking about this recently.
anyone have any thought on what they might be? |

lol I have no idea, but still the titans of dust 514 should be the most power weapons on the battlefields they are deployed in.
I think I read somewhere that CCP is going to actually make MCCs buyable for mercs |

Not ground, but I wouldn't be surprised if they added Frigates(TM). Small enough, but too big for the current maps we have now. We'll see...

definetly not something that flies , i don't know what they are planning, because in eve, every seconds is a battle that is around you, in dust you have to queue to get in a battle, and when it is over, everything you had is restored if it wasn't blown up, so dust 514 might be like eve, making it so that you are always vulnerable to others, but idk how they would do it. |

It could be 2 things:
As stated, the MCC. That would be the most reasonable one. However, there is another idea. In Templar One, there is a giant MTAC (about the size of tall buildings. I can't remember how big, and I haven't got to that point in the book from rereading it) that the Amarr has. But I highly doubt they'll put those in, because it also split HAV's in half with one sweep of it's lasers. It'll most likely be the MCC.

CCP LogicLoop wrote:(...)Space stations, not sure. We want to have fighting in MCC's in the future. Currently working on a large socket that is a rather large production facility, but it may not be exactly what you are imagining. Underground facilities, this relates to our memory problems with interiors in general. We want them too and will find a way to do it eventually. We have specific road map right now and things like this are not a priority right now, but they are in our minds and in things we want to do in the future. CCP LogicLoop wrote:Mobius Wyvern wrote:CCP LogicLoop wrote:Doyle Reese wrote:How will fighting in MCCs work? I mean, we've all been in MCCs before, it doesn't seem very roomy Not entirely sure yet, but the MCC's will either have a new interior, or it will be a new MCC all together. The current MCC's are for safe spawn location. So is it likely we'll be seeing them upsized to 300 meters and made more similar to BF2142 Titans as the DevBlog on them and the 2009 presentation seemed to imply? I do not know what the intended specs are at this point. Things change (and I didn't start here until just over a year ago) over time. However, with that said the current MCC's clearly do not support a realistic gameplay scenario in scale right now. So it would only seem logical that they would become greater in size. Source: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=952652#post952652
This implies the MCC will get bigger and nastier and we will be able to attack it from within |

The 'Titans' of Dust could be the facilities themselves. Imagine that if you hold a district long enough, you could build it up through armaments or production or that you could create a capital district if you owned the planet. |
