Now that we are nearing two months from release we have had the ability to watch how you guys use the system and compare that to how we thought it would be used. Some of our original ideas held up great while at the same time others did not. In a game where we try and give as much control to the players as possible this is bound to happen. The critical thing is how we respond to this information.
Weapon Ranges and Profiles in Uprising 1.2 and Beyond // Discuss this Blog
With Uprising 1.2 the long-awaited changes to the range system are finally in game! Previously, weapons had an optimal and maximum range. Unfortunately, at its max range a weapon would simply stop doing damage. This is bad for a whole host of reasons and weGÇÖve addressed this by giving all handheld weapons an optimal, effective and absolute range.
The Commando: Uprising 1.2 Brings New Dropsuit Role // Discuss this Blog
The Commando dropsuit is a versatile combat unit able to react to battlefield threats as they emerge. Built using a repurposed heavy frame, the suit is designed for maximum offensive flexibility. This streamlined frame does away with extraneous armor, using the augmented power of the exoskeleton to shoulder the weight of two light-class weapons such as assault rifles, scrambler rifles and shotguns.

This is getting out of hand, his last post was 23/5 if I'm not mistaken.
I will be forced to take drastic measures, I'm preparing to put 'Missing' posters on Milk Cartons!

Good thread easy to understand links make it quick amd useful, feedback/bugs report should perhaps be added as well.
Also the lack of blam is strange he on vacation? Got fired or something?
Also more blue activity in the feedback/request section would be appreciated as it's a bit disheartening to see so little of it.

Keep making good content for the community and I'll find it :P Also, a few of the Shanghai Devs will have a harder time getting to the threads for responses which is not good - so I'll have to bug them to give you guys some face time. I need more dev posts to put up that are responses to those blogs as well.

Does anyone else LOL when they see this week in DUST at the top of the forums and its now a week out of date?
Also still dont understand the whole MM/DD/YYYY thing you lot do DD/MM is better IMO. |

Plan to get these out on Thursdays. So, I'll be posting one up tomorrow. Also, they will not be edited. Each week's post will be a stand alone post, and chronicled. So it's only out of date because the new one hasn't been posted yet! :)
