What it'll be like when we are finally joined with the EVE Universe, and no, I don't mean how we'll have to listen to how some people hate us. (Those people HTFU)

Excite me when I think about the idea of being part of it, soon we'll have scams of our own that get onto newspaper and such, how cool is that? As soon as CCP gets the kinks ironed out we'll have both a timely and fun way to explore the universe, probably through Player Owned Stations, and trade hubs like Jita. (Obviously IN them, not in space) Someday we'll have actual lush worlds and arctic wastelands to fight over in equal measure. We'll be in a world mired in both intrigue and politics, and when people ask about the depth of the universe or the fall of major alliance "X" or the sacking of planet "Y" you know what you'll be able to say?

We would need an open world type of gameplay with lots of different worlds that we could explore and search for "treasures" or resources with our friends or corp members, all the while defending ourselves from NPCs, drones, and other players trying to kill us to try and claim our loot for themselves in giant open world/open PVP planet/s. Also this should leave the current PVP system to FW and PC battles, and just normal arena PVP.
This is what I expected from Dust. Unfortunately I doubt the PS3 has the capabilities of rendering entire populated planets with so many areas to explore and infinite possibilties, and I doubt CCP has the ambition for such an amazing project.
If Dust was like this I would never need to buy another PS3/4 game ever again. |
