So today, I log onto the game servers!
I've never feel so depressed after playing today! I've entered 4 matches this morning and put on the losing teams. I don't mind losing, I got depressed because I was put on the WORST losing team that I've been on in any FPSs. I can't wait for my corporation matches!
(...or just scroll down and read the last two paragraphs if you just want to see what I have to say about losing teams!)
I got depressed and give up today because I had NO POINTS on pretty much everything that can and would be earned in the matches. This from a kill, hacking, blowing stuff up with anti armor equipment and even being a medic reviving clones on the field!
Not only that! It was how BADLY the team(s) I was on ended up losing!
During the skirmish match! (I'll notice down the planets and maps another time), there were three bases to capture. My team kept getting shot down. This allowed me to quickly earn points using anti armor and medic classes. There was one point no one really thought about which left unintended for 10 minutes! It was the base located in the middle of the field, why wasn't anyone going for that and hacking that point to win? When I arrived, it was completely empty and deserted and hacked it! No one attempted to hack the point.
After a while, the rival team took over all the other bases and had quickly taken out troops, so I decided that I've became a medic to revive them and got a lots of points for that.
I thought, wow, maybe it could be me or I was just so bored of what happened, that I went onto another mode, the Ambush!
So I went and competed in ambush and this is where I got my answer and it somewhat happened on the other mode aswell!
I was put on a team where they were so dreadful, I was amazed that almost let down what had happened and I actually noticed that the same thing happened in skirmish!
I entered 3 ambush matches on a team that had 25 clones LEFT compared to the other team that had around... 46. I became a medic and my screen was blinking loads of 'call of help' signals and these signals were coming 30m away from where I was. I was looking around and I noticed that these players who were calling for help were the one that aimlessly ran alone and were just easy pray to the other team. (which I think to be honested)
Not only that, players have already adapted to 'finishing off clones'. When I mean finishing off! I mean players would continuing shoot the hell out of corpses so a medics cannot revive them. I'm not sure if the game does this, but I do think the game can tell if it's going on!
I know this game has enough right now to give out little reason to make a conclusion however I really do think the game has scrap heads newbies that are still running into the field ALONE, panicking, feeding the other team and people are following, when the match is doing so badly for them, almost like they've lost hope and just want to get the match over and done with!
They're the one's who are using (and I think almost abusing) the situation to call for help, hoping a medic would come out and revive them in a middle of an active fire fight with like a 5% of surviving while reviving anyone and I get shot while trying to revive someone! What's the point of that?
It's a sad thing for me to say because everyone is still a new player and it's courting and this game is still in the beta and almost everyone is a still newbie!
It's nice to know who the selfish players are visually and what to look out for! That's maybe the only good thing about it! This is a serious newbie move!
It's even more annoying because the wrong people get it these problems like the other team mates that want to help out! You'll be entering a match with players who've used 10 clones when there's like 16 players on the same team. Someone has been seriously feeding the team time and time again!
The game was nice enough to provide stats on how much clones you have and someone who I think it's terrible enough to feed the team time and time again and hit the 'call for help' button when there bullets flying everywhere!
This is what I mean by BAD!
When I mean BAD, I mean a team that has loss around 60% of the clones from the start of the match compared to the other team who almost lost NOTHING. A bad skirmish were a team that hasn't even taken a point in the skirmish matches for 5 minutes and end up in a panic and desperate attempt to claim the ONE point that heavily littered with troops when the other two points are completely empty!
In skirmish, if all points on the field are being over run and the enemy team are defending one point! Keeping in mind that you have a radar and there a sniper or two around which beats running into a field of 10 close ranged troopers! Find the most empty field and hack that point!
It's simple, if the team is doing so badly I'm ambush and the best option to reclaim clones is to revive them. Sick together!

I got in an ambush the other day with a new squad of guys I never ran with.. we won with a clone count of 47 to 0
THAT team sucked, and we were not proto stomping in the slightest.. half the squad is not very old in the game |

One time I went 1/1 and was ranked 3rd in the match. The first one had like 2 kills. Btw only thing I did whole match was kill a tank with an installation. Worst team ever.

we all get stuck with the crap team every now and then , I had to yell at a bunch of blues earlier for continuing to spawn on an uplink in domination that had 6 reds camping it.. they just would not stop spawning :(
and then the rest were just chilling back doing who the fk knows what in the redline, circle jerking? i dunno |

I suppose I'm not the only one then! I do think it's interesting and somewhat amazing that it happens, I've glad I've seen it then! I suppose the developers are trying to filter it down to what they can do to improve the experience.

Yeah... matchmaking does need work.
A while ago I played a Skirmish where the team I was on captured ALL of the objectives before the enemy even got one and proceeded to hold them through the entire match. |
