We need militia scrambler rifles- with that, the racial starter fits need to change. Give amarr and caldari players militia scrambler rifles in their starter fits, rather than assault rifles.
And lower the prereqs of scrambler rifles to Light Weapon Operation 1- why should amarr assault rifles take longer to skill into than gallente ones? |

I'm not sold on this. Even in the AR range, not all variants are available at skill level I. In fact, isn't there a variant AR with Operation IV as a prereq? |

They made it so "exotic vairants" were in high tiers only, different variants are considered specializations, so they cost more SP investment. |

Meh. The advanced one is a touch underpowered anyway, at least in my experience (I've got proficiency III).
The proto is just right IMO, though it needs to be brought in line with the AR's recoil one way or another. Buff one or Nerf the other, I don't care, but being shot by a 'laser' is generally something that should be reserved for lasers. Just throwing that out there.
Either way, I think a standard variant might actually overheat... and generally not do enough damage to shields. Making it more or less a bad idea. = /

Nah Scramblers do almost exactly what is intended they should do. They don't need modifications or anything like that they are almost perfect as they are now. |

well that's a good idea then..... but peeps should really learn to use the semi auto one first.... heat management will creep up on them at high fire rates. |
