As we wind down to the final day of the triple xp week one thing is going through my mind (other than holy crap I hope I have time to cap my alts). Will there be another 3x event? What do you think and what are your opinions on whether there should be or not?

There's been other 3x events in the past, I don't see why there won't be more in the future.
Oh, and funnily enough my alt (former main, switched for Amarr) has more than double the SP I have now, and I only played a couple matches this week with him. I have however played past the cap on this guy since I was just a few thousand away from Scrambler Rifle Ops 5. Kudos to all of those who manage to keep up with multiple toons. |

I'm aware this was not a first but with the release of the PS4 only 4 months away and the impending doom of this game to shortly follow do you think we will ever see one again? |

If PS4 sells 10 million in its first year, which is VERY generous, there will still be 70 million PS3 gamers out there. I don't agree with the notion that PS4 spells the death of DUST 514 when in reality it will take years for it to build up the userbase of the PS3.
Also, I think DUST has enough points of differentiation to keep it competitive for awhile. I would never swap flashy graphics and frame rate for an FPS with economy, unrivalled customisation and all its othr unique points. It's for a different breed of gamer...tbh I don't think I'll ever be abl to go back to the shallow military FPS genre that dominates today...and I would wager that there are a fair few others who feel the same. |

The PS3 will not suddenly disappear when the PS4 is launched. In fact, the PS3 will retain a larger user base than the PS4 for quite some time. Trust me, Dust isn't doomed, at least not anytime soon.
Also CCP has stated they plan to move Dust past the PS3 and to "what makes sense for their customers" eventually, but again not anytime soon. |
