Been a while now. When will you fix forge guns. Yes vehicles need a counter but not something that strong with that range and that short fire time and that can also be use to snipe infantry,
I mean really. You spawn with an AV weapon... no vehicles spawn.. who cares its an awesome sniper or a splash killer. Too many strengths too few weaknesses. dial it back.
Take Manus peak. Stand in the middle and DOMINATE the whole map. It's so OP it makes me wonder if you ever tested it. |

there should be a max and min angle that it can be fired at, like +/-45 from horizontal, anything other that that would start to damage or outright destroy the gun or person using it. |

Vid or it didn't happen. forge is fine. Big power but plenty of drawbacks. Only three guns need to be changed. AR - still too good at everything Flaylock - splash is too high for a sidearm with such a high fire rate and fast reload Laser Rifle - needs a useful sight and a little more damage.
Oh, and maybe a faster moving projectile for the plasma cannon. |

The AR is still too good at everything? What? The AR is great for killing infantry which is exactly what it's supposed to do. I don't recall tank or dropship pilots complaining about them damn ARs one-shotting them. |

All you vehicle users what you want is to have an immortal tank / LAV to just rampage with no deaths,well, NO. If an AV grenade kills you , you whine. Swam launcher kills you: ''It takes no skill, its homing QQ....'' If a Forge gun takes you out, well ^^^^
Forgeguns have LOTS of downsides, you are just unlucky to have stumbled upon GOOD forge-gunners.

Forge gunners have no zoomed aim. Forge gunners have on center dot to show where their projectile will most likely hit before dispersion (Yes the Forge had a little dispersion). Forge gunners have to contend with screen shake. Forge gunners have to contend with travel time. Forge gunners contend with being slowed down while charging/holding a charge (Immobilized if using a breach). Forge gunners have to contend with having a very limited amount of ammunition. Forge gunners have to contend with being able to be killed by everything on the field, except swarms. Forge gunners are heavies, so they are slow and large making them easy targets.
How many mercs can be killed with the AR before the wielder runs completely out of ammo and has to go resupply? I'm sure it's more than seven or eight. Ten if it's a lucky Forge gunner ignoring drop ships, HAVs, redline rail snipers, installations, etc.
When we just wanted more ammo and reasonable travel time and range for a projectile that's supposed to excede, as per the weapon description, 7000 meters/7 kilometers/4.35 miles per second, much of the non forge community said HTFU and get good. Well now that several of us have hardened the f**k up and have gotten good, those same people are now QQing that the forge is OP and the Forge gunner is godlike.
I guess it your turn to HTFU. |

I've tried forgeguns, they are very effective in the right hands, especially the assault version, but you have to have a great timing with it because when it's fully charged it shoots. Swarm launcher are the real noob tube in this game, they require no skill it's only fire and forget. AV nades should loose their homing ability. |

forge guns are a ***** to deal with, but its only 1 thing out of the 100+ items that infantry can use against us. so whatever, imho the av grenade are the real op av weapon out there, they do too much damage for being a tiny grenade, yes they are designed to kill vehicles, but im pretty sure that they aren't meant to 2 shot a tank. |
