To respond to all other threads that are made about OP weapons....at this time the most OP weapon is infact the.........
LAV
Most OP weapon in the game. Free versions of this weapon can withstand every AV nade other than the proto packed AV nade. I have even seen the free versions withstand 1 shot from a protoswarm. Then if you spend money on them you can get them with 50% resistance.......which is crazy.
It is without a doubt the most OP weapon in the game and it is FREE...you can run free suits with a free LAV and completely destroy the enemy and it takes high lvl weaponry just to hurt you.
This needs to be balanced out. Until this is balanced all other weaponry pales in comparison to this OP monstrosity. |

The problem is that LAVs in general require so little momentum to one-hit-kill infantry, sometimes just a small tap is enough. Also LAVs take damage from hitting walls and rocks, yet they don't get damaged from hitting armored and shielded dropsuits; LAVs need to take some damage based on the mass, HP, and speed in which they ram a dropsuit. It shouldn't be so high that hitting one player instantly blows up the LAV, but it should discourage that style of play. |

Regular LAVs are a joke, it's the LLAV and physics when you run someone over that need work. But instead of nerfing it, I'd like to see them implement webifiers, so we can slow LAVs down to a crawl. (Please make it work on dropsuits too) |

No, we can't do that because then you are making tanks impossible to play outside of the redline and dropships...oh my god dont even get me started on a dropship that cant move in the air, |

If they aren't going to fix their game, they should at least let us remove the turret, and have someone able to fire their weapon from the back. If we're going to play sharks in the water, we should be CRABPEOPLE (do dat shuffle) and ride our viscous steeds into glorious combat.

Right and it makes sense that a free LAV can take 2 ADV packed nades before blowing up? Oh and yes I have seen a free LAV tank a proto volley....maybe 1 missile missed or something but I have seen it. Honestly I dont care if you believe me or not...free LAVs should should be an insta pop for a regular packed AV nade much less an adv packed nade. |

LOL you must see some pretty badly fit tanks as almost all tanks I see can take at least 2-3 proto swarm hits. And I love people who are not good at this game calling me names.....it just brings a smile to my face. So lets see here ppl that I faceroll constantly are calling me a noob..............right. |

Near-immunity to infantry weapons on LAVs has to go. If a skanky militia LAV drives into a pack of infantry, it should be possible for them to concentrate the fire from whatever the hell they're carrying onto that one vehicle to make it pop over time. Not to the point where someone is going to be able to solo it with a non-AV weapon (especially when moving), but weak enough that one free car doesn't have an entire squad waiting patiently behind a rock while the new kid does doughnuts.
LAVs should be recon, support and getting from A to B fast. Right now you get to B and half the time you're better off staying in the car because you're either completely safe (no AV nearby) or instantly dead (AV nearby). Where's the middle ground!
(I acknowledge that in previous versions blasting the driver out the seat was the correct way to deal with cars, but with the new Vin Diesel physics it's hard enough to hit the car, never mind the driver.) |

50%+ buff to HP of LAVs and giving people the ability to call in LAVs for free is just another terrible aspect of this game. If this, and a few other things were changed I'd probably get back into playing it. |

I do think something is a little off with LAV's. I know a lot of you will say the 2 are incomparable but bear with me.
I hit an armor tanked HAV with a plasma cannon and his shield disappears, A direct hit to a shield tanked LLAV takes less thand 10% of his shields. Wtf mate?
I get than they have different boosters and all but they shouldnt be THAT different. There's no way an LAV should ever be able to tank 10x the damage an HAV can, no matter how many mods they have. |

I dont mind standard LAVs being able to survive 1 adv packed nade. The problem is even the worst fitted LAV will survive an adv packed. militia LAVs should instapop by an adv packed nade.....the standard if fitted correctly should survive 1 but not 2. Logi LAVs should be hard to kill but they are kinda rediculous with their 50% resistance to dmg.
And steadhand....yea I know our PR dept has not been active...but still. People need to at least pretend like they looked up that players stats before calling them a noob....because honestly I am tired of dealing with kids who get on the forums act all hot and when I see them in game facestomping them is an understatement. |

I see no issue with having free versions of those, since the point of the current free LAVs is to let players move around more quickly.
If you're going to allow that to be done for free, it should be with something like a Speeder that only holds one passenger. |

This happen to me as well I had a proto swarm with three complex dmg mod and prof 2 and it lived
or some of the missiles hit a wall or something

Actually proto regular nade does not insta pop a free LAV (but for sake of the arguments lets say it does). Its still a freakin PROTO nade to kill a FREE LAV...you know the LAVs that are supposed to be rolling piles of poop....yea they can take everything but a proto nade and survive. Yes if the vehicle is dmgs an adv packed might insta pop it...but thats if its dmged.....why is this so hard to understand. Free LAVs should be insta popped by regular packed nades much less adv packed nades. Free LAVs are there just to get you from point A to B and if you try to use them to run ppl over you should die to anyone who has anything that is AV. Instead they dont they are better than the standard LAVs because they are free and can take about the same amount of dmg.
Destroying a free LAV should be a mere afterthought for someone who has put SP into AV....instead free LAVs are extremely dangerous......and Logi LAVs are even more so.
That beind said I am pretty positive that the normal proto AV nade does not insta pop the free LAVs because generally speaking the packed AV nades does = dmg as the next lvl standard AV nade. IE Packed AV nade does = dmg as the adv standard nade....etc (this is how its been for a long time maybe it changed with the last update I honestly didnt check recently). |
