Seriously, begging for respecs is lame. Time to stomp our dropboots down & say "enough is enough!"
We've ALL made mistakes with our SP, deal with it!
I grow weary of Mercs flooding the forums with pointless "Respec me CCP, I made a boo-boo" threads.
I realise I may/may not be a hypocrite for potentially flooding the forum with THIS thread but hey, its better than either helping the Respec Scrubs with pointless advice or slapping the Helpers of said Scrubs.
side note: Just to give this thread a little more purpose, I for one wholly support bonus SP events. They draw more attention to gameplay & help people get that Duvolle(or whatever) they want. Thoughts? |

They were changed from what they skilled into them to be, having a decent weapon and then being nerfed to nonfactor is not what ppl signed up for, that is deception at its highest form. You spec into something that is useable, it gets nerfed and you are a nonfactor and dont want to play dust anymore. is that how it should be? is that fair? expescially for the heavy classes, they were promised change and new stuff but instead the HMG gets nerfed, they get no promised gear but everyone else does, and then the one thing heavys get is the pitful, worthless comando. is that fair? cuz this situation can easily happen to other classes. it already has to tanks. Lost the sagaris and surya in Uprising, plus got nerfed, got the equally as useless enforcer tanks, infaintry gets buff to AV, gets more AV weapons, and tanks are told they get pilot suit but dont get it. how bout that, that fair too? would you wanna play like that? nah, what class is next thats gona be screwed over? on a pretty good role on making players gaming experience hell so why not stop. Respecs would solve this promblem

^nicely played. Although I am trying to be pro-active. Forum flooding the same subject over and over againg (respec begging) gets us nowhere.

I think you make a point (couple of them actually). I stand by my "enough is enough" stance tho.

That mentality does encourage the status of stuff (weapons, gear, etc...) to remain how they are....thus BALANCE WILL HAPPEN!!!

One more respec when we get all our racial variants of the core* suits and vehicles, then no more. New vehicles and suits will come in the future, and we won't be able to specialize in them immediately, unless we bank plenty of SP, and I'm okay with that. I can live with my choices. As long as I'm given actual choices, instead of beib ng forced into a suit or vehicle because of CCP's bad planning and lazy updates. We've gone past official release and have yet to see a single Minmatar vehicle? But CCP adds in more Caldari/Gallente variants? You can't force players to live with their decisions when you never really gave them a choice.
Core suits meaning the basic medium, light, and heavy frames of each race.
Core vehicles meaning the basic LAVs, HAVs, and dropships. Not including assault dropships or scout lavs. |
