Fun fact: I'm not an idiot with the injector. I recognized situations that are suicidal, and situations that aren't.
That being said, if I revive you and you die again, and I don't, then im not responsible for your loss. |

It makes me so sad when a guy nanites me while a heavy is still practically shooting my corpse. It's not like I don't try to still run.
If I'm ever in a situation where it is questionable that the guy is going to die if I'm helping him back up I try to analyze the situation; do I need this merc right here and right now to be viable again? Are we behind and in the process of capping and defending? Will he help us cap? Will he be useful as a way to eat up some bullets and help the rest of the squad cap despite dying? Or is he useful enough that I'll stand in front of him, take the bullets for him, and heal him hoping that he mercs the guy that killed him? Or is he better off dead? Decisions, decisions. |

If they die after that its their responsibility. |

As a logi I say that other mercs make excellent meat shields and bullet fodder.

But if another wild merc appears to out you down, then I need to either try t fight him, Or fall back. |

I try to do this as well for the most part. Typically I'll try to drive the guy off (shotguns are more intimidating than useful, usually) but I also go for the inject, be the meat shield to give the crippled merc some cover or heal and cover. If it's a well suited heavy, sometimes I'll inject and stand behind him while healing him, instead.
Sorry, heavybros. |

I too am guilty of reviving people sometimes just to use them as a distraction/meat shield |
