many people have complained about the godlock and they have the right to do so based on the rediculous stats. it hasnt been much of an issue for me since i usually knife their back and outwit them with remote explosives (got 5 kills wen i activate it while they were hacking supply depot lol)
however, that one match completely opened my eyes the their destructive capabilities. our team ended up fighting against a team that had two godlocks instead of one (the switch to other in order to fire three more shots, which makes u wonder about a commando wielding 2 plasma cannons). we got thrashed and i definately suffered since they were firing that all over the place, including indoors. trying to nova knife those guys was a fustrating experience since they backpedal and i miss and well they shoot at their feet like a mom trying to swat a cockroach with her sandals while screaming, not to mention the hit detection problems the nova knife still has which made matters worse.
its nothing i should worry about though since there are plans to buff the scouts and the godlock will eventually get nerfed, which brings up a question.
why is people still trying to spec into op weapons that they KNOW will get nerfed. its just laughable wen people were crying about the tac ner wen they know about the nerf and continues to spec into it anyways. im just glad that ppl who spec into the tac after the nerf knows how to use it instead of a crutch.
for those who uses the flaylock to get competetive than trying to enjoy a playstyle, i just wanna tell you in advance that its gonna get nerfed. if you still wanna spec into it despite the circumstances then im cool with that, just dnt come crying to the forums wen it gets hit by the nerfhammer, you reap what you sow.
and its like i said, if ur trying to spec into one obvious op after another, then your in for a sad future on dust, but have fun
*forgive my spelling or grammar issues, im actually quite tired so im too lazy to fix it |

(If this is serious, which I pray it isn't, nova knives have infinite ammo and no reload, so carrying 2 is like having 2 guns, but only 1 clip between them)
And as to the OP's idea of dual plasma cannons, the reload of them is too weird for that to be very effective. By the time you can switch weapons, the reload is almost finished. |

Just like after the TAC AR got nerfed rebalanced, people are still going to use the weapon because they like using it. After all the backlash at the beginning of Uprising, CCP has gotten better at re-balancing things without nerfing them into the ground so as long as they don't go all Tonya Harding with the nerf bat, we'll still see a portion of dedicated users because, let's be honest, it's a damn fun weapon to use. |

i know its fun. thats why i dont mind ppl use those crazy weapons if its just for fun or if its their preferred playstyle, but to use it just to be competitive for win buttons, then its ridiculous |
