Im curious has anyone suggested a system that involves just transfering WP over into SP?
And Make it hooked to WP for entire sqaud?
For one attaching it to total sqaud points encourages sqaud play, as well as joining and playing with a Corp.
Currently its 5sp per second in match and 1sp per wp.
So what i can think of currently :
Sqaud accumulitive WP *2= "SWP"
"SWP" - 4000="SWP2" If SWP2 <0 then SP= SWP else SP= 4000+"SWP2"/2
And instead of removing bonus sp after cap i suggest removing the multiplier with this system.
This would effectively remove AFK'ers from the game, and reward sqaud play. Plus make being a dropship pilot viable even though i did have one match where my pilot raked in 750 WP with me gunning, damn good match that was but rare considering how easy they are to shoot down usually.
Note: I kept the bonus cap so low because with a sqaud of 2 i can easily make that cap, but with a sqaud of six iif all six players get 1k WP With a Cap of 4k you would be seeing every player get 8'000 SP. So the numbers may need to be played around with to get a happy number but should be averaged out for a 4 person sqaud in my opinion.
ex. 4 player sqaud all earns 1000 wp
4000*2=8000 8000-4000=4000 4000/2=2000 2000+4000=6000
Personally im happy with that as a normal average. Not sure what everyone else thinks on this though i know i will often see less than that but as long as i see one orbital pop i know ive gotten 4500 SP
If this system would be put in place CAP/Multiplier can be modified per Mode.
So what does everyone think of this? |

I think this is a step in the right direction... from what I know of CCP they don't like anyone telling them what to do so I doubt they would make a fix exactly like this... but they do need to do something and quick! |

It is silly that CCP believes just being their should be 5 times more important than actually participating. No wonder we have so many AFKers. |

My SIMPLE function to fix AFK
if player in battle time > 5min and WP = 0 then -count afkvar +1 -disconnect player from TQ
if afkvar >=3 do not allow a reconnection for 30min to TQ
this would bring so much hassle, many ppl would stop AFK farm as the ammount of time for them would triple or more. Sure it would not get all the AFK'ers, but enought to start with SOMETHING than having nothing in place like it is... |

But i decided to at least give a suggestion of how to fix a HUGE problem ive seen around the forums rather than just put up another pointless stop the AFK'ers post. Many issues ive seen around just get a bunch of general troll complaints and qq'ing without any useful feedback and its really irritating me. I got sucked into dust due to the fact of it takes a slight bit of intelligence to spend your sp which pushes alot of children away. Resulting in what should be a more mature player base. But from what ive seen around the forums it seems like the "Hardcore" fanbase is a bunch of ignorant self entitled babys.
Sorry went off on a tangent and ranted slightly my apologies. There are a handful with amazing ideas and good feedback and applaud those ladies and gentlemen for their efforts to make the game better with all their constructive criticism.
Just my military experience, If you cant suggest a way to fix something dont say anything about it. |

Plus ive entered in with more then five minutes in a match on a redlined teamed and left with 0 wp. Or i could just go get on kill or an assist then suicided and AFK for the rest of the match.... within 5 min and holes are punched in it. So doesnt seem like a good plan. sorry |
