Second the comments of redline camping annoy me. I agree somewhat that it needs to be fixed. But i can generally snipe people out of their redline so its never really been an issue for my squads unless for some reason nobody can damage you due to a redline damage glitch. Or for some reason you dont render due to redline. Other than that i say sit in the redline all you want im more than happy to relieve you of your heads.
And well i can gaurantee you will be more worried and distracted by me than you will be by the playing field. And if i can personally take a couple persons eyes off the action i have done my team a favor. Even if im only tying up one guy ive at least leveled the playing field |

Ok i do undstand that. But redline sniping is what i see the biggest complaint about. So thats what i commented on. Im generally getting pissed off by comments that do nothing but QQ without any constructive suggestions for a fix. Or is advantagious to one set of players but screws over others. If any of the WP restricting redline fixes come about then the Playable area needs an increase because the current playable areas usually puts Alot of the useful overwatches behind the redline.....Plus theres installations in the redline, so WTF |

m curious has anyone suggested a system that involves just transfering WP over into SP?
And Make it hooked to WP for entire sqaud?
For one attaching it to total sqaud points encourages sqaud play, as well as joining and playing with a Corp.
Currently its 5sp per second in match and 1sp per wp.
So what i can think of currently :
Sqaud accumulitive WP *2= "SWP"
"SWP" - 4000="SWP2" If SWP2 <0 then SP= SWP else SP= 4000+"SWP2"/2
And instead of removing bonus sp after cap i suggest removing the multiplier with this system.
This would effectively remove AFK'ers from the game, and reward sqaud play. Plus make being a dropship pilot viable even though i did have one match where my pilot raked in 750 WP with me gunning, damn good match that was but rare considering how easy they are to shoot down usually.
Note: I kept the bonus cap so low because with a sqaud of 2 i can easily make that cap, but with a sqaud of six iif all six players get 1k WP With a Cap of 4k you would be seeing every player get 8'000 SP. So the numbers may need to be played around with to get a happy number but should be averaged out for a 4 person sqaud in my opinion.
ex. 4 player sqaud all earns 1000 wp
4000*2=8000 8000-4000=4000 4000/2=2000 2000+4000=6000
Personally im happy with that as a normal average. Not sure what everyone else thinks on this though i know i will often see less than that but as long as i see one orbital pop i know ive gotten 4500 SP
If this system would be put in place CAP/Multiplier can be modified per Mode.
So what does everyone think of this? |

Rant over I have already stated that your approach is a step in the right direction , and ive also commented that CCP by their past actions and inaction have proven themselves to be uninterested in players solutions and tend to be more receptive of constructive criticism laying out their personal experience of how particular mechanics hurt the game... they like to create the solutions. what you call QQ I call unified dissent... something CCP has been receptive to in the past. for an example read up on the eve incarna expansion. for a more recent example of CCPs deaf ears to our solutions just read all the good ideas in these forms that were side stepped in favor of fixing the caldari female walking animations....our continued out cry will have the effect we desire long before any one players solution gets implemented. as always thanks for your passion and your time to post on this matter.
I wasn't talking about you btw. I do understand what you are saying as well. But at the same time i will play the devils advocate and defend the devs in saying that at the same time just because we see one fix that we dont think we really needed doesnt mean that they are not working hard on the things we do really want the problem that ive been able to see first hand is not the fact of ignoring issues just the fact that really do suck at informing us of what is going on. I can understand other companys keeping things under raps but they also have larger player base's. In a small community like ours we need to be informed. An informed society is a happy one.
But my main complaints were about the fact that CCP does do alot better than other companys with being involved with their community. But they do seem to take more pride in it than they should i admit. |

True but i can still transport people quickly from point A to B without a CRU and i could still be effective ,so what then? I better hope somebody shoots at me?
Im playing devils advocate, if their are any holes they need to be worked out. I still prefer my idea one because its mine i admit. But also because it rewards play instead of punishing you for not playing, if you dont play guess what you dont get anything, I believe isk should be worked in there too
X amount ISK per kill+X amount ISK per WP
and if you get a % of what your sqaud mates earn as well then all of a sudden you have guys that didnt used to sqaud up doing so. The sqaud leader can still kick people so if someones in the sqaud AFK and trying to leech then boot him. Hes AFK he probably wont even notice. And he wont get anything at the end of match and he should stop doing it.
