Shield regen. is your best friend. Take cover and let that regen. Speed isn't that great but I've managed to use that to my advantage. I feel slow, like I have enhanced plates.
So our best working bonus is the regen. The shield energizers and regenerators can help. On this note, does the regulator work properly?

funny you should mention ADV plates, i got these on my dragonfly and i can still dance thru bullets.

The shield regs seem to be a bit sassy sometimes reminds me of my ex.
Don't work if they don't feel like it.

Lol but all jokes aside them complex shield regs are your best tanking ability since speed seems a bit......off
Also I noticed that the glente scouts shield regen seems to be faster then the minja , bug? |

Can't fit shield regulators, Minmatar scouts only get two low slots, and I need the low slots for kinetic catalyzers.
Energizers don't sound too bad but I doubt they're worth losing the little buffer I have. |

Its a tough decision whether to run Regulators.
I have so many fits popping up every time I play. I would make a slight alteration to flux / av grenades or whether I want just speed or speed and regulation..
I've always found that regulation is a beast but 25 % for a complex regulator seems balanced, but not pleantyful (considering the proto shield resistors give 65% regen.
basically, you gotta ask urself how usefull is it to shave x seconds off your wait-to-regen time.
Depends on ur playstyle I guess.. if you are taking cover, then no need for it, if you're dancing around swinging those knives then I guess its needed.. but so is speeeeeed.

Shotgun scout is my bread and butter but I stay the hell away from anything that relies on bad mechanics to stay relevant :/ |

Outside of the prot Gall suit there are not enough slots. On my Adv I run a repper and switch out a complex kat or stamina (not the proto one...don't have that yet). I have tried not running the repper but when I don't I seem to die even more! lol |

Yeah, the Minny Scout has almost no versatility. Give me an extra low slot so that we can be more than just fast.
That would give me some extra versatility. Maybe a hack mod? Or how about a regulator or a reactive plate? I would totally run a reactive plate on my scout if I had the extra low slot. Some extra armor and rep would be worth the tiny speed nerf (especially with a complex Kincat) |

very ironical that the gallente is best suited to equip the regulator, as i do, regulator certainly save your life, IF they want to, very temperamental, but is very good, since complex regulators, REALLY make your lifespan longer, i wouls equip in a min scout one of these at least |
