Is anyone else saving SP because they want to spec into new stuff when its released(Instead of hoping and praying for a respec lol), because I have a little over a million SP that's just burning a hole in my pocket.
So how much you guys got? |

Not enough to save, still gotta finish my core skills, get better grenades, and a couple other things so Ive still got the next million or so SP earmarked before I can even thing about new weapons or suits |

I got two more days to get what I can. Which reminds me, I gotta start playing with Krixus Flux more. He desires the path of a Scout or a Logi. |

Hmmm You might have over 10 mil SP by the time it comes out, but hopefully im wrong, it would be nice to see more of the skies filled. |

Saving sp for when a GOOD heavy suit comes out. My ETA is uprising 1.9999.....
Until then SP will be held on to. I all ready have everything proto i need and proficiency lvl 5. Nothing to spend SP on |

I have about $1.5 M set aside for my scout suit and weapons. My intent is to wait until the Amarr and Caldari racial suits get released prior to skilling into any scout suits, and to wait for the new weapons prior to really skilling into any weapons. However, I may just pick up the AR/Scramber Pistol/SMG since I have cool officer drops for those weapons I'd like to use eventually.....
In the meantime I continue to focus on core skills while I get stomped regularly.  My KDR is horrid. It's a good thing I don't care about that! |

My main character (Matticus) is a scout, so I can tell you it takes a lot of SP..... he's at 9M allocated and still getting stomped.
This alt is a logi and does much better w/ only 4.5M allocated and 500k in the 'bank'. I use the Gallente logi suits.... it's fun having something to switch up to, but for me scout is where it's at right now. You will have fun with either you choose to go with, I think.

I thought new weapons/suits might come out in the June update (that the CEO announced, remember?), but mostly I was concerned with suit changes Remnant mentioned back in May that seemed already set from what he'd said. That update didn't happen till July. That update didn't add weapons/suits.
So, I'm still waiting, and saving SP. CCP hasn't been clear on what will come when. Maybe in 1.3.
I run militia and BPO stuff until then. It's a game of running crappy gear without knowing when the gear you want till be released because they won't tell you, but they will tell you that they won't give you a respec again. So, you wait... |

was at 4.6 million saved until yesterday and now I am at 2.3 million SP.
I am always trying to Save around 2.8 million because that is how much you will need when New Suits are released to get Prototype civ level 5 right away. |

True, but 3 shots is usually a good enough buffer for me to escape around a corner in that time, and is more then enough to survive countless small-arms fire and quite a few AV grenades.
if there is a protoforger then in an overwatch position where I can't escape, then he deserves to kill me for setting up such a good position and investing so much in AV. *shrugs* |

One of my corp mates has near on 7 million saved. I can't do that. I am 1 million SP away from completely maxing out everything under dropsuit core upgrades (super Logi!). Then I'll be working on Logi LAV, Logi Dropship then mass driver.
I can understand people saving though. It's a nice feeling seeing a crap load of unallocated SP in your possession and knowing you could pretty much speck balls deep into whatever you want. |
