I was busy *NOT* hating on CCP and something came to mind...What if PC was (mostly) working as intended (Minus the AWOXing, and 1.1's bad FPS, reinforcement timers etc.) what if it was meant to be a war of attrition. Like, I know most people wanted to go to war and end it in half a day, but what if it made the battles less consensual as in, one day S.I may not want to fight because of low morale or something, but the Imps decide they want to strike now, a war's battles are never consensual so...It brings me to believe that it would become like a real war. People fighting, money being thrown and the wars lasting for long amounts of time, until one or both sides decide they can't afford to fight an unending war. Thoughts? |

I was already sure that was the intention, but things that take time are repugnant to your average tryhard teenager.
This is how wars go in EVE Online, honestly. Both sides eventually get tired of the endless struggle and just ***** out, unless you're talking the old HBC-CFC union, in which case they roflstomped anyone in their path within weeks.
I mean, I was there for the Branch campaign. We destroyed White Noise in less than a month. The other Russian alliances they kept saying would come to help them just watched them fall rather than try and fight us. |

Aren't CFC and HBC at each others throats now? I mean, that's what I saw on the Mittani. |

IRC devs are saying that there's going to be a dev blog on Tuesday that's meant to "shake up" PC.
Do with that info what you will. |

Problem was the giant blue-donut leading to there being no one to fight, so they eventually turned on each other. |
