That is a question worthy of the philosoraptor. Is a clone really human? It can't die and is born with the sole purpose of dieing, and iI don't think they can think for themselves so id consider them as mere tools. Batman has my approval. |

Tho if you think of it, they could also be seen as extreme humans. I mean yeah they are meant to die, but at the instant they die, their clone arises, with the genes and the knowledge of the previous, which is somewhat the same of the main purpose of humanity, passing on your genes and knowledge to the next generation, except the clones are doing it at a faster rate in a faster cycle.
I mean, they say its a "transfer of consciousness," but they also make remarks of it merely being a copy of the previous clone's memories at the moment of death, which could imply none of them are truly immortal either, once one of the cloned consciousness or the original person dies, it dies, that one is gone forever and the next one takes its place, and altho it may seem like its not the case for a third party, (since they know and act exactly the same as the original would.) they're not the same.
Its the exact same as if they created that whole idea of teleportation by dematerialization and rematerialization of molecules. Even if they managed to teleport a living being successfully, there's no guarantee the consciousness being rematerialized is the same one that dematerialized.
But I guess I'm deviating a bit too much from the subject now, I'll just say Batman would more than likely not kill a clone unless forced, as it is a conscious living being. with free will, even if meant for war. Either way, even if it was merely a construct built to appear and human, but with no true free will or consciousness, then they wouldn't really be alive and thus he'd be unable to kill them anyways even if he wanted.
tl;dr: He wouldn't. |

Batman would use knockout gas and keep him in confinement like superman's sanctuary where he keeps alient "pets". It'll be stupid to kill an immortal if they just keep coming back so why not just capture them and keep them alive.
He can also 'break' his opponent by forcing them listen to Robin sing and dance. |

Forced coma? You can get a guy hammered enough to not know what suicide is. Drugs and what not. Bondage and whips. Cryogenic freeze/sleep. Anythings possible when you're batman. |

Everyone knows that the Joker dies at the end of Arkham City, along with Ra's Al-Ghul The Arkham games stuff isn't cannon. Batman doesn't kill. He would kill a clone though. You can view a clone as very similar to a robot or an android. Past the first generation they don't even have feelings.

If he can't kill clones then he can't kill androids. One is mechanical and one is biological but serve the same purpose. |
